I don't believe Britney ever had any intention of using the Veto. All this rigmarole is purely to keep Hayden sweet by attaching blame for the decision on Rachel.
As of Britney's latest chat with Rachel, the Veto will not be used. Outside lockdown announced. (moved from other thread) |

I think Britney may have used the POV, but she just couldn't trust Kristen in the end, and Rachel threw Lane's name out as a potential replacement.

(moved from other thread) As soon as Rachel mentioned putting Lane up, Britney backed off, and decided not to use it. She was about to go tell Hayden but the DR called her in and the ceremony is going to go ahead before she got a chance to tell Hayden she isn't using it. |

I'm very close to jumping on the Britney bus. She's playing by far the best game at the moment, and is actually in the super rare position of being universally popular, but with no target on her back. She's the only person to really capatalize on Rachel's constant need for approval, putting her own personal feelings aside to do so, and if she isnt directly responsible for Brendon and Rachel's imminent evictions is almost guaranteed to receive their votes if she made the final two.
My only concern for Britney is that she really is unware what she's dealing with in the Bridage. As poor as their game so far has been, they remain undetected, and as the weeks go on, there are less and less people who can feasably beat the four of them. I think Britney really needs to make an alliance with Ragan soon, because I dont think she'd be able to beat the four guys on their own. |

Feeds back; Kristen looking low.
Still, if the Plan had happened we'd have had to put up with 3 days of Kathy blubbing, pleading, begging and exaggerating her sob story. |

Britney telling Kristen that she wanted to use the Veto, but Rachel was thinking of putting up Lane, and that's what made her not use it. Kristen is saying she understands.

Hayden, Kristen and Kathy having a pity party in the Taj room. Kathy should be happy, she just dodged a bullet!

I really hope that somehow in the next few days, Hayden really blows it big time and turns Ragan, Kathy, Britney and Brendon against him. I cant call myself a Kristen fan, but i'd much rather see her around and the Bridage uncomfortable than the alternative.

Britney to Lane: The reason I didn't use it is because she said she'd put you up as a pawn to make sure Kristen went home. I saved you.
A semi-alliance with the brigade too. Clever girl. |

A semi-alliance with the brigade too. Clever girl. The Brigade needs to be exposed. I'm wondering if Hayden will reveal all to Kristen... |

Okay, so a sub-alliance has been formed between Britney, Lane, and Enzo.

That's what I think Britney is expecting. Her gameplan is almost perfect, but she's sort of missed the boat when it comes to having any alliance late in the game which will probably cost her.
What really confuses me is how any people outside of the Brigade havent sussed thing yet. Rachel spent the whole of the last episode moaning about how Kristen and Kathy are floaters who are trying to play both sides - I dont see how she cant put two and two together and realise that if they are "trying to play both sides" there must be another side in the house, and a much bigger threat of one than Kathy. |

Rachel tells Brendon that she doesn't trust anyone but him and Britney. She says that they need to make sure Britney is safe next week.

The only way Kristen has a hope of surviving is by throwing Hayden under the bus. Perhaps by watering the seeds left by Andrew, she needs to blame Hayden for calling Enzo stupid, for saying Lane is only good for 4th or 5th place.....
But I agree with Rachel's assessment of Kristen: Cool Girl. She thinks she's entitled to be there, without having to work for it. She certainly didn't bother to work Andrew. My guess is she won't bother to work to save herself either. Because she'd rather be ....cool. |

She needs Hayden to believe that, Kristen is irrelevant. |
