Twenty minutes into the show and what is there to grip me? Absoulutely nothing!

This long drawn out Kat and Alfie saga with Alfie feeling unwanted and unloved. Its his own fault for borrowing the blastard money off Andy! The sooner this storyline finishes the better. Then he goes and has a cry in the cafe with Billy - both total failures in love and life moaning on about their worries.

The stupid Ferrira family (who I am sure inspired the BNP's high election showing), who should all be thrown out of the show because none of us give a damn about them and if only Kareena was going off for good instead of the lovely Kelly, which brings us on to this holiday rep storyline which w**k-face Spencer tried to apply for but failed miserably (why LB why??).

The bitter "rivarly" between Dot and Pauline. Why can't Pauline get run over, shot by Den or get suffocated by her own cardigan? This woman gives "miserable" a whole new meaning and this is another storyline that should be buried.

I hope this gets a beating in the viewing figures tonight because its boring with the same old crap and with the addition of the hot sunshine and the football, people are not going to watch this pile of trash.

Come on BBC, axe it NOW!

I got it recorded and haven't watched it yet; although if it's as bad as you say it is, I might just watch The Weakest Link I recorded instead.

Well I honestly wish I watched the Sweden-Bulgaria game instead. At least that was entertaining, but the reason why I watch it is just to vent any anger on this pile of trash.

I don't watch EE myself, but I noticed 'Dead Ringers' were even having a go at the unbelievable story lines.

Something to do with Pat writing out a cheque for £30k.

Isn't the whole idea of these forums to be a platform to air your opinions and discuss them with others?

If you don't like what you read then maybe you should take your own advice.

No matter what you think of the stories lines and acting skills of the Ferrira family there is no excuse for joking about rascism.

Apparently not if you criticise EE or the blessed Louise

As dire as last night EastEnders was, it still beat Corrie in the ratings.
Last nights EE wasn`t too bad, i`ve seen much worse.
Alfie is really getting on my wick now though.

Corrie was on at 9.45 which is a really awkward time for a soap -- I almost forgot it was on myself, so I suspect that is why the ratings were not very high. It has also just finished a major storyline (Sarah/Todd) so I wouldn't be surprised if there was a temporary dip. Despite the lower ratings, it is still producing quality storylines (and Cilla is back next week, what more could one ask? )

But I agree, last night's EE was not the worst -- I saw worse ones last week

Why are there so many anti-EE threads? Surely one would do? Otherwise there's probably going to be one started for every episode! We all know it's crap at the moment, maybe someone should start a thread which could act as the single ubndisputed HQ for all EE criticisms that aren't character related?

Even the threads which have a different initial purpose deviate into a chorus of 'why is it so cr*p' - which after all is quite appropriate, as we're following the example of the pointless, circular EE storylines

We need a forum where we can just debate the current state of Eastenders, with threads such as 'Actors/Characters' - Who should be killed off/sacked, 'Storylines' - Do the writing team have any ideas at all?, 'General Eastenders' - Will the show survive until the end of the year?, etc, etc. You know it would recieve thousands of posts a day!
