Even the courts disagree with you. That's why people are taken to civil court for copyright infringement by the RIAA and not criminal court on theft charges.

I agree whatever it's called it's wrong but people need to stop saying it's theft, because it's NOT.
Yes, I was being inexact with the word "thief".

I think it ought to be a criminal offence, 'though.

Thanks to a new app called Frash, it is now possible to view Flash based content on your jailbroken device.

Just updated my iPhone 3G to software update 4.0.2 and it has taken off my jailbreak and all applications associated with it how do I get it back please?

You can't... The whole point of 4.0.2 is to patch the PDF exploit... the same exploit used by JailbreakMe.com.

As boyzie suggested, you need to downgrade your firmware.

As you only have a 3G, you may not need to worry about having a SHSH saved for 4.0.1, as I think that only applies to the 3GS, 4, & newer iPod Touches.

Downgrade to 4.0.1, re-Jailbreak via Jailbreakme.com, & then use Cydia to find & install saurik's PDF Patch (which fixes the exploit without losing your Jailbreak).
