Can't see too much of interest happening today.

Rachel, Ragan and Kristen go up to HOH.
Ragan says it's a huge week in the game, the biggest decision so far, and one that should not be made on emotion.
The house has pairs and groups of 3, and friends are shared across the groups; there are overlapping groups.
Everyone needs to be very observant about who hangs out with who. You can't play a game without knowing where the pieces are on the board.

Ragan says the big thing isn't who goes this week, but what happens next. Rachel says her main motivation was to split the Hayden-Kristen pair, and that's been achieved.
Ragan says the big thing is where will the remaining person fall? What's the best fit for them? He tells Rachel to stay downstairs all day today and tomorrow and make observations.

I think he's hinting that Hayden's the more dangerous player.

Rachel says she assumes Ragan wants Kristen to stay, and says she won't even share this with Brendon (seems unlikely!)
Ragan won't confirm that and says it's what happens next that matters.

Ragan is saying, without saying it, that if Hayden stays he will naturally gravitate to Lane, Enzo etc......

If Kristen stays the balance of power in the house will be more or less maintained.

Very good strategic overview.

Rachel says to Kristen that she thinks Kristin is more dangerous than Hayden to herself and Brendon because Hayden doesn't think through the options so much.
Kristen says she wouldn't automatically come after Brachel if she's still there.

Ragan is onto the Brigade. Maybe he doesn't suspect Matt is part of it, but I think he definitely sees Enzo/Lane/Hayden as the ones "poised to make a run to the end" after this week. Maybe he sees Britney as part of that too. I do think he suspects Matt as well though, because he hasn't had this conversation with Matt, and he seems to know how the votes could play out this week.

With Kristen gone, Hayden will be spending much more of his time with the guys. The Brigade will find it much more difficult to hide in plain sight.

It's a pity in a way that Britney seems to be practically a member of the Bridage now. With work on Brenchel, Kristen could very easily take it down to 4-3 this week, but without Britney's vote it'll all be in vain.

Brendon arrives and they go very quiet.
Ragan says the 3 of them should have a conversation and leaves.

Kristen tells Brendon they were discussing whether her or Hayden are the bigger threat.

Outside Lane and Britney are bonding - he's doing push-ups with her on his back.
Matt is lassoing stuff.

Rachel says it's scary that Hayden would be with the "other 3". Is she leaning towards telling Brendon to save Kristen, who says it will be a 3-4 vote.
Kristen is at least making a decent attempt to try to save herself.

It's more like Ragan had an epiphany and it so happens to favour Kristen. She has no evidence at all to suggest it will be a 4-3 vote, she even thinks Lane is a possible vote for her! I've yet to see anything from Kristen that suggests she has any strategic comprehension at all. It's mostly personal vendetta stuff so far.

Rachel says if Kristen stays she will ally with Matt/Ragan, take out Brendon and keep Rachel.

Rachel says if Hayden stays he will join Lane Enzo and Britney to take out Rachel and keep Brendon.

She's half right......

Ragan thinks he could influence Kristen more than Hayden so wants to keep her. (straight girls liking to have a gay male friend etc).

Kristen leaves, so B&R start processing all the new information.
Rachel says Kristen is using convincing arguments to stay; Brendon says Hayden said to him outside that he has no-one.

Ha, Rachel and Brendon's new plan is to pit Hayden/Lane/Enzo against Matt and Ragan. And if Brendon wins HoH next week, he's going to put up Matt and Ragan.

They're not going to keep up the game talk all day are they? It's too much for me.
I'm going to have a look at the The Deep, the new Beeb series.

Britney seemed pretty close to them early on too, but I get the feeling they view her as disposable at best.

This could change with her sudden veto successes etc.

Kristen has gone up to HOH to talk to Brendon on his own.
She starts by reminding him that if Hayden stays, he'll form an alliance with Lane and Enzo.
She says she probably has 3 votes to stay at the moment; he agrees.
She claims if she wins HOH next week she wouldn't put Brachel up. (yea - right!)

Brendon promises to tell her how he'll be voting. Kristen leaves - straight back to cabana to report back to Kathy, who is horizontal as usual.

I dont understand how Brendon and Rachel can get this game so consistantly wrong.

Brandon saying how can you trust Kristen, when now she's campaigning against her own pal?
Enzo hates them asking him how he'll vote, because he doesn't f*ckin know yet. He thinks Kr is more of a f*ckin loose cannon than even Kathy is.
Brendon says Hayden's game would improve if Kristen goes, as she's f*ckin his head up.
If Enzo won HOH he'd put up Kathy and one of the people who jumped off the surfboards.

Brendon says F5 with Enzo, Lane and Ragan would be good. Says he could beat Ragan in games because he's an ex-smoker.
He's saying Kristen told him she thought her relationship with Hayden was more serious than Brachel. Rachel says "I can't stand that girl."
Kissy-kissy.
Rachel: Kristen knows that Britney hates her.
Brendon winds her up by claiming Kristen tried to kiss him.
"Joke, joke."
Kissy-kissy.

Brendon joins Rachel on the hammock, Britney having left after assuring her that Kristin is out.
Rachel still simmering that Kristin went up to talk to Brendon alone while she was asleep.
