I've got a SE T610 at the moment, but I'm looking to get a "flip-phone", any suggestions on the best phones (doesn't have to have a flip!) around at the moment? Needs to have a good screen, decent battery life and good fast texting input!!!

Yep me too, but I'm looking for something on Pay As You Go, Vodafone. Any decent ones coming out soon?

Samsung E700 is a great flip phone

Or Samsung E710, but that is exclusive to Vodaphone at the moment I believe.

I'm not sure the S700 is going to be released in the UK. Maybe the K700 would be OK, and it will be my next phone. It's not a flip-phone though.

what makes you think that the S700 would not be out over here ?? it has a UK site for it

e.g goto
http://www.sonyericsson.com/s700
go to Europe then UK and it takes you to here
http://www.sonyericsson.com/product/...c=en&has_php=0

why would they have a UK site if it was not going to be released over here ?? it should be out in October but before December

When I went to that site a few months ago, there was no UK site for the S700. Also, I have seen no release date for it, although the release date for the K700 was published some time ago.

If it is to be released in the UK, then that's great.

After checking out the specs for the SE K700 and S700, I think the S700 has more features. But the K700 is a lot lighter and slimmer than the S700, and I don't see what I would be gaining by getting the S700. It's too big to be used as an every day phone, IMHO. the K700 is 93g, and the S700 is 137g. That's a big difference when it's in your pocket.
