I am slightly baffeled by not being able to connect to the internet/Opera on my Nokia 6600. I am using the GPRS WAP connection and anything to do with 02 Active works fine. However, if I tap a internet address in or try to start opera it doesn't do anything. it just says 0kb and doesn't move.

Can anyone help?

Few things to try which are hidden away by O2:

I use the Netfront browser on SX1 and this didn't work till I put the O2 proxy settings in:

193.113.200.195
port 80 .

The other things to try are:
1. make sure ALL GPRS settings are enabled on your account (ring them up - should be WAP and Internet)
2. Try using the mobileWeb access points - but this is not free (neither will WAP GPRS from July I think)

It's the legendry problem with o2 GPRS - you need Mobile Web enabled on your account if you want to surf properly.

Is this a phone setting or do I need to ring 02?

The 'Mobile Web enabled' is a call to O2.

The proxy settings should be options in Opera - can't confirm this sorry!
