Now i personal like big brother because of the game meaning bitching, backstabbing etc. now most of them are playing a game but a few of them are doing it openly which is where i get to my point. now i know most of you do not like victor for one reason or another but putting that aside would it be better for the game if there was no bedsit. unless victor is pulling some double bluff and is winding emma up then when they come back the game has been changed and it will never be the same. if victor gets exposed then he will have problems as well as jason and it will ruin opportunity for more game playing as the hareem will get to strong and the most fun game player will be gone and the whole bedsit return thing will only last a weel while the game playing could last till the end.

so putting your feelings for people like victor and jason aside would it have been better for the game if there was no bedsit.

Yes the show would have been better without the beds**t...emma and michelle now have a huge advantage...victor is going to be evicted before his time and one of the harem will win...

The bedsit has added a huge dimension to me, fair or unfair...

Personally speaking, it's been better for it.

No.... I think the bedsit was a great idea..... and it worked especially well... because of the two chosen to go into it. Can you imagine if Michelle had gone in with Ahmed... she cant stand him... they would hardly have spoken to each other... and as for the double bed.... NO WAY would Michelle have shared that !!!! Michelle and Emma have been hilarious in the Bedsit... great entertainment. In spite of the slight cock up with the sound at the start... its still be great.

The bedsit is just another version of the South African trip, whomever BB wanted in was going to get special treatment.

You can look forward to either emma or michelle winning now, the only person that may have a chance is Stuart as he'll not be nominated by the harem till it get's near the end.

BB as a contest is finished.

As of Friday you'll have the 4 in the harem plus Stu, with either dan/van and shell and Jason facing them, with Victor floating with nobody trusting him now, and Ahmed.

Simple numbers, BB had the potential for a great series, now it's just guessing which ones will be picked off next from those that are not in the harem.

Very true hammy...unless some head of household type format is put in place then the harem members will never be up for eviction from here on in...

yeah it has worked well but the effects will only last for a week but the game will end there as the hareem will be to strong and the most fun game players will be out. without the bedsit the game will continue and the fun will be on going. the hareems antics will get very boring after a while.

The bedsit is simply an unfair twist...great short term entertainment followed by the game ruined....possibly for several series to come...

No, because otherwise Emma might have been evicted last week, and that would have been a disaster for BB - same with Michelle, only not so much. Too big a risk for bb.

I agree. The true damage of the bedsit has yet to be seen or unleashed on the house. I think the 2nd half of this week could be very dramatic...

I suppose if you desperately want Victor to win no matter how much of a backstabber he is then you will hate that the Harem have had the advantage of the bedsit.

In my opinion, the Harem were picked on unsubstantially by the "Jungle Cats" and now they are getting their revenge. It's good to see the underdog come out on top.

Also, even if Michelle and Emma were evicted, the Jungle Cats game plan has not worked, so really, it was a weak game plan to begin with.

I think it was a good idea but could have been implemented better as I dont think it lived up to its potential. I would have like to see E and M having more decisions to make regarding what happend to the HMs.

Much better without. Eviction immunity is probably the worst thing that BB can do, but to give it to two people and then give them loads of inside information about how other people are playing the game really takes the biscuit.

The only hope is if Dan and Shell join the cats and then they may swing it.

It was likely yes but still too big a risk for bb to gamble on losing either of their star players. Emma and Michelle are two of the three stars of the show and to lose one in week 2 would have been disaster.

THey are not the underdogs though they have always been the ones in power. and its not just about victor its about the whole show its been ruined. after a few nights of entertainment with jason and victor the show is completely ruined and the game is dead. all it will be is the hareem and don't think you will not get bored of thier antics as nothing stays fun forever.

Thats just your opinion, what makes you think I could give a budgies if you are enjoying it or not?

There is a programme on Sky Travel at 10pm about Streakers - if you don't like Big Brother anymore here is a worthy alternative.

What was the point of that post, is their need to make this personal when i was just giving my opinion.

The bedsit has been great. I was upset when BB first started messing about in BB3, with the rich/poor divide, but since then it's already gone past the point of no return (...sending Cam for a holiday outside the house, for goodness sakes...). Now I just judge these inevitable changes of format on their entertainment value and this bedsit idea has paid great dividends. Well done BB5. nd

Victor - Vic and Emma have to stay in the house until the final day, they're running their own Eastenders meets Corrie soap opera.

I suppose it depends if you veiw this as a contest or entertainment. I think its difficult to have both.

The bedsit works for entertainment, but not a contest as its giving an advantage to two housemates. Nothing wrong with that, its a bit like watching pro wrestling, you know its rigged, and accept that. Sit back and enjoy the spectical.

However, if you want competition, with 12 people trying to win (and they all should be if its a competition), then you give no one the upper hand and let them fight it out how they like. They might pull hair and cheat a bit, but you don't give them a set of knuckle dusters or a steel chair (using my wrestling again as an example).

Me, I like competition. Let them fight dirty (thats fun), but the bedsit has ruined the chances of two or maybe four of the contestants. Vic and Jay obviously because M and E wont keep their gobs shut when they go back in, and Emma and Michelle maybe because of the backlash, from all the housemates.

I agree completely with that but it won't happen as people are dtermined to get rid of victor. people should think that if he is the main talking point on the forum then that means he is providing a service so why get rid of him before people who do not stir up any conversation.

Very few people would be watching if Big Brother wasn't entertaining. As we have learned from Big Brother 4, if the entertainment isn't top notch then the contest means nothing.

The Bedsit is hugely entertaining and therefore gets people caring about the contest.
