Not heard of it, and like everyone above, when I put in various postcodes it wasn't available. Can't really see how it would work anyway, but who knows? If it's genuine I'm sure we will hear more about it over the next few weeks, otherwise I'm inclined to believe it's just another internet scam

FAQ page claims that "issue 1 comes free with the Radio Times on the 15th September, Issue 2 is on sale from 22nd September and thereafter the issues are on sale forthnightly[sic] every Tuesday."

Hmm. If it weren't £7 I'd consider it anyway...

We must have been typing at the same time, I didn't see your info until after adding my thoughts. Simple then, if it's in the Radio Times on 15 Sept, then it's probably genuine; if it isn't in RT then it isn't!!!!!!

We'll find out on 15th!

The Radio Times comes out on a Tues and the 15th Sept is a Wed (I know cos it's my birthday ). Dunno if that makes it more likely to be a scam, or it's just a typo.

I guess if any of us was really interested we could contact the Radio Times and ask them ......

22nd'll be a Wednesday as well then. Interesting. I imagine it's a typo - the site's obviously pretty new. The magazine's not meant to be coming out for over a month anyway!

There's a few of the DVD's on ebay, so it is real.

I was looking on ebay for Strictly stuff and found the DVD's then I googled it and found the website.

Not sure if it's genuine or not... Eaglemoss is an established company, I have subscribed to them for another magazine.

The Len video is a bit odd, as it was posted on youtube a year ago.

I wouldn't mind having a look at the first issue, as it's free with the RT (allegedly), I will see what it's like. As far as I can see, they will pick 6 top routines for each dance and spotlight them, with tips on the dance from Len () and a pro demo of that dance too. Not sure on a couple of the choices though...
Jive- Tom/Camilla (!), Jill/Darren, Alesha/Matt, Darren/Lilia (!), Matt/Flavia, Louisa/Vincent
Tango- Emma/Darren, Zoe/Ian, Mark/Karen, Rachel/Vincent, Alesha/Matt, Austin/Erin
Quickstep- Tom/Camilla, Colin/Erin, Austin/Erin, Matt/Lilia, Lisa/Brendan, and looks like Natasha/Brendan (!)
Paso- Austin/Erin, Darren/Lilia, Mark/Karen, Jill/Darren, Tom/Camilla (!), Alesha/Matt

How are the DVDs already on Ebay?! I

I might actually do this for reminiscence purposes... I can watch them on a Saturday night instead of the new series

Hold on... Len's video has been on Youtube for a year and the DVDs are on eBay, and it's talking about Tuesdays and the 15th and 22nd September?

Does that mean this magazine was out *last* year, not this year, then?

But how could it have missed us all?

I can't believe it wouldn't have been mentioned on the forum even once... especially if it was free in the RT, loads of us would have seen it, me included.

Possible it was due to launch last year, but didn't... although that wouldn't explain where these DVDs on Ebay came from.

I think I'm going to buy the Jive one off Ebay and see what it's like... will report back here when it comes!

I know, that's what seems confusing about the whole thing. I have no idea what's going on now...

I subscribe to RT and would have noticed if it had been in there last year.

I'm quite tempted to get the tango one just so I have some proof that Zoe Ball actually did one, given its disappearance from Youtube...

According to www.networksolutions.com the website is owned by Eaglemoss publications.
Eaglemoss do seem to specialise in that sort of thing i.e. partworks
So it does seem to be genuine.

It looks interesting. Perhaps the postcodes don't work (mine doesn't) because the new series hasn't started yet.

(The thawte certificate on the payment page runs from August last year, although it's possible the site existed before then and the certificate was renewed I guess - but it implies that it was intended for use last year)

The absence of Denise & Ian for all of those dances makes this magazine completely invalid. I'd almost rather it was a con.

Looking on a bigger picture on eBay, Denise and Ian are definitely on the Quickstep one.

Nothing from season 7 you notice and even though it wasnt a good season generally surely someone from that series should have been in it !!!

Makes me wonder if it was piloted in one area last year and didnt take off.....however I agree with a previous poster that it SURELY wouldnt have gone completely un noticed on here.
