This is probably my favourite Ella track.........it's just fantastic, I love the way the whole mood of the song changes about 3 minutes in and it becomes 'ironic' or 'sarcastic'.........

Yes, I love Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered, a great song when sung by any half decent singer, but magical by Ella.

To be honest, any Rodgers and Hart, Cole Porter or George Gershwin song sung by Ella is also magical. Impossible to choose a favourite.

There used to be this *amazing* live version of 'imagine my frustration' on youtube, but it got taken down. Such a shame- it was literally jaw-dropping. You couldn't imagine a more incredible vocal performance- and the band was right there behind her. I wish so much that I could post it up, it really was stunning...

Glad you love Ella, so do I, but that song was not one of Ella's, it's called "Passing Strangers" and it's by the almost as wonderful Sarah Vaughan (with Billy Eckstine). Terrific song.
