The saboteur would be stupid to play around with this weeks vote, it would just confirm that it wasn't Brenchel or Matt.

I wouldnt go as far as calling them the greatest alliance ever based on how they've played so far. Obviously if they make the final four they deserve massive praise and credit for being the first early alliance of that size to do it, but the way you get there has to be taken into account too.

I just dont think I can ever really compare them to Danielle and Jason, (My personal best-ever) because Danielle and Jason were far more in control of the game than the Bridage will ever be. Danielle basically said at the start of the week "X needs to go" and by the end of the week, "X" was gone.

If the Bridage are the final four, then it makes them a great alliance. But when you let your main targets sweep through the first four weeks, despite having 2 direct oppurtunties to get rid of them, I think your not the best ever.

I liked Janelle, but does anyone else find the legendary facsination of her in the BB world a bit extreme?

She was an awesome competitor, played the game desirably the first time around, and was far more favourable than most of the cast she played with, but on a personal level she was hardly an amazing person or anything. I cant imagine she'd have much of value to say in a conversation or anything, I liked watching her, but I dont quite get why people would want to meet her.

Who says Brenchel were the Brigade's main targets anyway? Matt definitely understood the pros and cons of his decision not to put them up last time and he achieved personal safety the following week from his deal with them.

Like I said in a previous post, so long as the person Evicted isn't a Brigade member, it's fine by them. Now they have Brenchel exactly where they want them and there is no escape.

But in my eyes the player I would compare with Janelle, is evel Dick. They both competed well and they were both very much in your face people. But neither had the kind of ingenious subtlety demonstrated by Will or Dan.

Yeah, I see what you mean. I think the only real difference is that Dick was actually a lot sharper strategically and just in general than Janelle was.

I rooted for Janelle to win in both her seasons because I didnt care for her opponents but when it comes down to it, she didnt really deserve to win either for making poor decisions.

People say that Janelle is the best never to win at BB and I find that a bit laughable.

Her game in BB6 was admirable for her honesty and loyalty to her allies, but like most players that season, her strategy was basically "get rid of who I like least."

Her first HoH was a fabolous show to watch, but strategically it was atrocious gameplay. The Friendship hated her regardless, but she still didnt even attempt to go for the glue that held them together, she went for the low rung who betrayed a friend earlier in the week.

And lets not even start on her BB7 game. When you win 4 HoH's you deserve credit for being a fighter, but in an Allstars season, when your evictees are Alison, Diane, Marcellas and Chicken George, you know somethings not right.

They'd be the first ever alliance, of any size, formed on day 1 to make it to the end wouldn't they?

Its a long time since I watched season 3 so I'll take your word for it regarding Jason and Danielle. The Bridage may not have had so much control over who leaves every week but they have made sure that none of them have ever been in danger of leaving at any stage which is all you really need to do. When did the rest of the house find out about the J/D alliance?

The Brigade definitely deserve credit. For a four person alliance to get that far without even being discovered is great. And they've played all their sub-alliances really well. It doesn't really matter that it's taken them this long to get one of Brenchel out, because them lasting this long has barely affected the Brigade at all.

Right now, Matt has Ragan. Enzo and Lane have both Britney and Brendon thinking they've got a secret alliance with them. And Hayden probably has some influence over Kathy, because she liked him and Kristen. They are in an amazing position right now, they can afford to just throw the HOH next week if they wanted to.

Chill Town were a notorious alliance known to everyone BEFORE Season 7 even began. There were only 2 of them. One of them still won. It helped that the Mayor of Chill Town, Will Kirby, remains the greatest player ever.

See, I rate Matt as a decent player, but I cant help but wonder if he is simply the games best spin doctor in regards to his first HoH week. He made a dumb move by not nominating Brenchel in the first place, but ultimately came out of it smelling of roses because Rachel happened to win HoH the next week. His move wasnt particularly well thought through, and could have backfired spectacularly if say, Kathy had won the next HoH, or even moreso if Andrew - a decent competitor had survived.

Ultimately a lot of the positives will be undone now anyway, because Rachel will 100% vote for the person who hurt her and her man less in the game.

When they got home.

Everyone knows about chilltown . I was just talking about alliances made early on that survived right to the very end, ie if its a 5 strong alliance they are the final 5. Chilltown were fantastic but in 2 attempts Boogie and will were never the last two left in the house, although they came mighty close.

Matt has potential, I said early on I wanted him or Britney to win (yeay me lol). He will prove himself if he can see that he is the 4th man in a 4 man alliance and gathers up Britney and Ragan to take out a couple of Brigaders (preferably Hayden then Lane from his point of view).

Matt was very wise not to trust his alliance to have his back, when he refused their wish to nom Brenchel, they were and are useless at HoH comps. If he had given in, he would've been in serious trouble the following week....he was very aware of that possibility....but would have backdoored Brendon if he could, therefore lessening the personal risk to him the following week.

But he is The Brigade's smartest player, followed by Hayden.

I'd say Enzo is smarter than Hayden, he hasn't made any big moves but he's been working well behind the scenes imo.

I say Hayden purely because I was impressed by his plan to save Kristen by sacrificing Matt. That showed imagination.

Enzo has a great social game no doubt. But.....only a fool would take him to F2, because they would surely lose. No one in the Brigade is a fool. So....can he beat Hayden or Matt in the F3 comps to get there? I doubt it.

Rachel on the hammock, visibly upset. I'm beginning to think her tears are an expression of hurt vanity ("why are they doing this to me and not so and so?"), rather than a recognition of her peril.
