Just been watching some of the shows and result shows and I take my hat off to each and everyone of the girls. They are all talented and I don't know how they put themselves through it each week. The results are heartbreaking and you can see they all bonded. I have had to reach for my hankies more than once tonight!. They are all courageous girls and will all go far in life. It takes a special quality in life to do what they did and they are all so young too. Each and everyone is gifted and I would like to say 'thank you' to the girls for entertaining us.... It's easy to forget how good the show was.. WELL DONE. Best show of the year!!!!!!

I agree with all of that, even though I had a fav while the show was on I now think all the girls are amazing and love how close they all are.

I still keep watching all of them too. Give me these shows over X-Factor / American Idol any day

Even I agree with that (and I don't normally watch this stuff). OTR was really good. I loved the way they picked the dog to play Toto too, that was so cute

Totally agree with you.....This was the 1st Andrew LW show I watched and I was shocked and amazed at the standard of all the girls. I'm literally obsessed with the x factor every year but even I must admit the contestants on the x factor are nowhere near as good as even the worst contestants on otr! There isnt 1 girl from the final 11 who doesnt have the ability to be a west end star, whereas the x factor is lucky if it has 1 or 2 contestants each year who are successful. Also, when you look at the amount of routines and songs the girls on otr had to learn and perfect every week you couldn't but admire and respect their perseverance, while never complaining. On the x factor they have to learn 1 song each week, with little dancing the majority of the time! I'm not slating the x factor btw as I'm a massive fan and cant wait for it to start again, I'm just highlighting the standard of the otr contestants!!

Stephanie was brilliant in Hollyoaks. Love her character.

I think Over The Rainbow is my favourite reality TV show ever.

I watch a lot of reality TV but it's all so fake/manipulated and predictable (I'm still obsessed with the shows, though ). I admit, since reading "The Chosen One" thread, I looked out for "signs" of Danielle winning and so even this show was predictable where the winner is concerned but I don't care because the show was fantastic and was real and actually about the talent.

It's left me pining for more. It's a shame there isn't one every year
