Shame about Mario and Ben. I thought and hoped that they'd have some kind of friendship but hey ho, like Ben said, they are two very different people. Maybe further down the line they'll be able to repair their friendship, stranger things have happened. Mario isn't faultless though, constantly taking out his frustrations on Ben with his strange behaviour, snidey digs and silent treatment. Ben was the only HM he did this to. If my 'friend' was constantly throwing strops, ignoring me for silly things like not being offered a piece of apple, getting the hump with me because I wasn't into aliens, trying to touch my privates, taunting me like calling me fake, proding and poking me, I'd be peed off. Mario is an exhibitionist and even admitted to having sex online with 200 people watching. I think Ben got fed up with him stripping all the time and his constant sex talk. Reading a report, Mario even stripped and ran naked through the hotel reception after the final.
I think Ben and Mario have different outlooks on things and just eventually got on each others nerves. Mario admitted in his interview with Davina that he hated Ben after finding out Ben didn't want a relationship with him. Not sure Mario's best wishes to Ben are that sincere either. To me it seems like a dig at his career prospects. Don't know what nasty things Ben is supposed to have said about Mario on the outside but Mario was cheeky, guilt tripping him over the S&R task after nominating him. In all Ben's interviews after leaving, he's said that Mario is a really nice guy and he's grateful for the kindness that he showed him in the early weeks.
What I like about Ben and Sunshine are that they don't hold grudges over what went on in the house. Both of them were spoken to like sh!t by some HMs. Even Nathan has forgiven John James. Keeva was the one who noticed that they were bullying Ben and she asked him why he let them speak to him like that. There was one time in the bedroom when they all ganged up on Ben in the name of banter. They were going on and on at him with Dave whispering in John James' ear. I'm surprised Ben never lost his cool and managed to laugh along. His bitchiness was a way of venting and he acknowleges that some of his behaviour was poor in the house. At least Ben admits his faults.
As for no one had a good word to say about Ben, and him about others, that's not true. Corin, Laura, Jo, Sunshine and Andrew have said nice stuff about Ben and vice versa.
Anyway, moving on lol, sorry about the long post.
I always thought Ben2 could be related to Ben. They could past as brothers. Looking at some Ben2 photos depending on how he's dressed, he really looks like a mini Ben, similar texture hair.
