Well it was Ben in the video thing the housemates saw, so hopefully we'll see a tiny bit of Ben in tomorrow's highlights . Gotta take what you can get I suppose? Getting a bit frustrating waiting around for that though if I'm honest . Ah well!!!

I think I just caught Dave in the break saying that Ben was still up to his usual tricks with the girls - smoothing Ife over with a carrot hahaha. Oh, Dave! (Didn't see the video on LF but from the questions evidently it was horse themed - Ben reading a book called "Riders", Horses there, Ife with a wheelbarrow and polos, and of course the carrot ). Trouble with Dave is that often he is joking (and I'm not sure he's aware of what he's doing) but he's enough serious, and more importantly he simply goes on so much about the same thing that it makes you want to tear your blimming eyes out!!! Makes you realise how he'd be good at *converting* people. Should I not say that? Hmm... To be fair, sometimes I have felt like Dave was a really nice guy - caring and giving good advice and that. But it sadly seldom lasts too long! He's doing a great job of hosting the quiz though to be fair!

The housemates were a picture all watching the video anyway - must be weird to think of people outside the house when they've been in there so long now. And they've been thinking about what happens after people get evicted of course.

Yeah I will admit Dave is VERY good at manipulating people into thinking his way without them even realising he's doing it. I think only Keeva and Sam Pepper had his card marked, but Sam had the advantage of going in late.

Was it a new video??

Yes, you couldn't see the video (well, you could see bits of horses in reflection) - but it was Ben and Ife... and horses seemingly!!! The housemates were discussing how long it would have taken Ben and Ife to film it afterwards. It was only a couple of minutes (if that) so they'll probably show it all I'd think .

Funny how they're starting to miss Ben in the house today. First Dave and now Jo. She's just told Josie she misses Laura and Ben saying, she likes Ben apart from the player thing and could spend all day with him because he cracked her up. She would crack up just by looking at him. Pity they didn't appreciate him more while he was still in the house instead of slagging him off during his last week and after his departure.

Although, if I were to be pedantic, she could "spend all day with him because he cracked her up. She would crack up just by looking at him"? So essentially she's saying she liked to laugh at Ben and I've heard a lot of them say this. I think it is doing him a massive disservice to put it down to this. But then it is part of it, and also you would do that in there (put feelings down to their smallest possible reason 'cause after all, you're stuck there with only the people who are left and such, like it or sugarlump it [woohoo for terrible jokes at pre 7am!]) Shame is, for some of 'em it seems the plain truth. I know Ben was down more as time went on, but he could have the kind of conversation that's missing now from the house (i.e. interesting conversation!) and I felt he brought a warmth there too which left along with him. 'Course they also miss teasing him....

Oh this silly "Ben the player" stuff makes me want to poke them each time they say it. Ben, the player who charms hugs out of all the girls and boys - the dastardly fellow! How dare he. Hugs and kisses too. Try some sexy time and perchance he'd run a mile (in the essence of Jo's own words too!) but oh yeah, Ben - the player. *pokes*

Wouldn't have him any other way!

I think some of the housemates (Jo and Rachel in particular) are misinterpreting what Ben is all about. He certainly is a charming guy and is also a very touchy/feely person. He also does love to dish out the compliments bless him but that doesn't make him a "player". Thats a very different thing in my book.

I saw the task last night where Ben was featured and hope they show it in full on tonight's highlights. Unfortunately you hardly saw Ben but did see the smiles on most of the housemates faces whilst they were watching the short clip.

I'm not surprised if Dave and Jo said they are missing Ben. He was one of the few housemates who could hold a good conversation and also bless him sometimes put his foot in it and created some interesting things to happen. I bet even John is missing their little arguments even though I'm sure he would never admit it!

Oh why, oh why do they always time this Ben so it clashes with HLs? First his chat and now his vid on LF

I hope the full version is on the website at least, if it's not shown on the HLs. Come on BB, pull your finger out

Ben just appearing on screen would make be smile and chuckle too. I think Ben is naturally funny just being himself - kind of like Michael McIntyre or Jack Dee. It's not just what he says, it's the way he looks, moves, how be behaves, just his whole demeanour. And I think it's the expectation of Ben saying or doing something funny, which makes you feel kind of joyful already when he appears because you know that the majority of the time you're going to get something good. It's not a bad thing, I think it's a great thing!

This is the honest truth and I am not just saying this because I love Ben to pieces, but I haven't laughed, giggled or even smiled at the HL's since he's gone.

Even when he was being deadly serious he could still make you laugh, like the night he was on the bed with Laura, Mario was staring at him, Mario left the room and he just delivered that immortal line "he's a first class ****!" It was classic! Even Laura fell onto the bed laughing.

There's no joy there anymore, its all the JJJ or Poor Dave "I'm getting punished" blah blah bloody blah!

Put all the ex-housemates to a vote like they did with Nicki and let's get Ben back in there! Listening PEJ???!

I would rather have Ben in the allstars than back in there with that shambles they have left, it would P them off more, especially with the winner from this series in there as well wondering why Ben is also In fact I would rather have every single one of the evicted housemates and walkers be swopped with those left. The evicted housemates and walkers from this series so far apart from Rachel, have been much more interesting.

I think we should bombard PEJ with emails until he agrees to put Benji back into the Allstars

I really want Ben back in AllStars as well, whether or not he'd be up for that I don't know. But I think he's the only person from this year who people will remember, so it seems just to me.

I think people will remember JJJ only because of their sheer dominance and that foul duvet  I for one wouldn't mind forgetting them, though! I think they'll remember people will remember Sam too, for trying to bring down JJJ, and hopefully going on to win.

However, Ben was practically the only HM who managed to have a storyline and grab screentime that wasn't to do with JJJ, and that alone makes him head and shoulders above the rest! I think Shabby could have as well, if she stayed longer.

All the others seem to be either background or sucked into the JJJ drama. If you remember them at all, you'll think of JJJ by association

If I didn't want the dead wood Jo and JJ2 out this week, my mobile would be red hot from the re-dial!

Did you hear John James defending Ben there?! He said that Dave kept Ben up all the time, and Dave said it was only once or twice

I've laughed at some of Sam's quips, but I've laughed a hell of a lot less since Ben was evicted. This whole series though, has been short of laughs. Thank God for Ben and the Ignore the obvious task, or else it would have been very laughter free.
