That's a good question, what did he say?

The only time I really saw him get flustered and thought he might lose his temper was when Rachel just wouldn't shut up about him being a player in the nest, although I'm not sure if that was just down to Rachel, since he had been getting it on all sides that day.

One of the things I admire about Ben is that he never shouted at anyone, although sometimes I wish he would just lose it and tell John James, Mario, Rachel or whoever was having another go at him to STFU and F-off
This is exactly the reason I hope he stays away from Rachel. Any interest she has in him is purely to further her 15 minutes of fame. They never had any chemistry together, I always thought he had more with Keeley actually, and Sunshine. Such a shame she never stayed longer, would have liked to see their friendship grow.

Oh my God, I've missed another opportunity to ask Ben a question! I've only been off the thread for a weekend! Congrats on getting your question answered spiralstatic!

Missed Ben on BBLB today, any news from it?

Heck, Ben had more chemistry with John James than he did with Rachel!

And Mario!

Actually if Mario gets evicted this week expect Ben to turn up again, it'll be the first thing they ask him about. He's done bugger all else hasn't he?

Yeah, he said he was quite proud of how he'd responded to situations. He said that there were some times when he'd been close for example the Shabby situation where it ended up with people just shouting the same thing at him over and over and Shabby telling him she just didn't like him. And he said that in the end there was a part of him that just wanted to tell them all to shut up. In fact he talked about the first question for ages (he apologised for doing so!) but I can't remember what he said as I was cringing a bit that they read out my e-mail hahaha .

He mentioned it being hard at times because while he didn't have anything bad to say about anyone in there, there was no-one he really connected with either - saying sometimes you can feel loneliest in a group etc, and he spoke about different weeks - how he'd found it particularly difficult in his second to last week, but better in his final week in the house. And of course he said he had learned stuff about himself - such as that he wasn't as laid back as he had thought. What else? Hmm.... Aww, Ben. I'm afraid I didn't really promote anything to provide funniness (although he did *do* Shabby and John James as part of his responses ...), but he did give lovely well thought out (and long!! ) answers!

haha, at the end of it all he also said something like "I'm happy to be out though... ooohhh, but be careful how that's quoted. I'm happy to be out of the house! I keep saying these things!"

I'd imagine Mario will be one f those that scrape into the final, come 5th or 6th and barely even get an interview so hopefully we won't be hearing much of Mario's views on Ben!

I've had family here this afternoon so only caught the very last question that Ben answered (the one Spiralstatic asked I think)

Thanks Flora Poste for letting us know what Ben spoke about and Spiralstatic for her input Looking at the website I don't see anywhere to listen again for those of us who missed the interview

It is the usual thing for a guy from NOTW to post a link to an interview

I wonder what Ben will be up to next week? I hope his friend posts some news for us.

Clubbing together to hire Ben for the day sounds a good idea to me

Sunshine was one of the few people there who were really on the same level as Ben

A better translation of what Rachel said would be "my agent thinks I'll get some better mag deals if I hook up with Ben"
Never a truer word said - stay well away Ben.

She was still banging on about the player's lounge being closed when Ben left the house though. She needs to give it a rest, Ben and Player don't belong in the same sentence and the longer she goes on about and it and the more the more foolish she'll look
It's her only storyline that she created - what else has she got to talk about

Dont know how much longer its on but tune in and listen to Ben http://www.jnetradio.com/index.html
Oh no missed it. I wonder if they let you listen again. Thanks Flora

Good evening everyone - glad they finally put us to part 2. We would probably be at part 3 now if they had merged the charge thread too

Missed bblb but will watch on 4od.

Loved about Shirley Bassey in the Telegraph

Glad Ben is only mentioning Corin to win now and not Dave - maybe he's realising he's not so nice about him.

I think that would have been interesting to see, especially to see how the other HMs would have reacted. I mean, they spent so long prodding him for a reaction, but never seen to get it. I wonder if and how that would have changed how they saw Ben or treated him if he blew?

He mentioned it being hard at times because while he didn't have anything bad to say about anyone in there, there was no-one he really connected with either - saying sometimes you can feel loneliest in a group etc, and he spoke about different weeks - how he'd found it particularly difficult in his second to last week, but better in his final week in the house. And of course he said he had learned stuff about himself - such as that he wasn't as laid back as he had thought.
I remember one HL spoiler had a section with Ben in the DR talking about how he wasn't connecting with anyone and he was increasingly finding it difficult in the house because he was lonely and bored. However, it was cut

haha, at the end of it all he also said something like "I'm happy to be out though... ooohhh, but be careful how that's quoted. I'm happy to be out of the house! I keep saying these things!"
LOL, oh Ben! One of my all time favourite Marcus quotes is 'Ben and Mario are in the closet'

I'd imagine Mario will be one f those that scrape into the final, come 5th or 6th and barely even get an interview so hopefully we won't be hearing much of Mario's views on Ben!
I think this too - the way the schedule looks, I can see the evictees from 8-winner being given the short shrift whenever they're evicted. There's a hell of a lot of HMs still left in there, but not a lot of time in the schedule

...although, I'm not sure how long a interview Jo or Steve or or JJ2 will need

They'll probably be as long as Laura's interview on the night Ben got evicted

They probably cut it so they could have another 5 minutes of scintilating duvet footage

Yes that's probably true. How long ago was it?

Poor Ben, I always just wanted to jump into the screen and just wrap my arms around him and give him a big cuddle. Someone on Facebook said he reminded them of a giant Care Bear, bless him

I caught a bit at the end, Ben said he is hosting a dinner party tomorrow for some housemates at his flat. Sounds like it is being filmed for BBLB.

It was probably a week or so before he got evicted

That might be what Rachel was talking about... as long as there are some other HMs there as well it should be okay

Yeah Rachel did say she'd be seeing him either tonight or tomorrow didn't she? I had awful visions of them going on a candlelight dinner date and BBLB filming it
