Dan - changed or still scheming?

Well since the girls came back dan seems to have joined in on all the fun and has yet to do any bit-time bitching.

Has he seen the error of his ways, and joined up with the fun-lovers, or is he being two-faced as he has been so many times before?

Dan is upping his game, he is putting on an act.
He's up for eviction and he does not want to go, so He's kissing butt.
Feeling dirty Dan?

I can't blame him, these are very strange circumstances so he is winging it.
Great viewing, and you could argue that until the dust settles he is playing it a whole lot better than Vic and Jay at the moment.

Dan definitely bending with the wind, whereas Victor and Jason just got blown away.

I am not a Dan fan but he saw Vanessa blow it tonight big time so he just raised his game, she will be out on Friday if not B4.

Game player or not (and why shouldn't he be one), i still admired the way Dan ploughed in and carried Emma out of the room when it all kicked off.

He then calmed her down and stopped Nadia and probably Marco from rushing back in.

Agreed. People here have whined about the 'adults' in the house, but what wpuld have happened last night if there had not been at least one adult (Dan)?

Dan then went on to try and get himself in the hareem as soon as you could say evict Jason and Victor and did it by poisoning Shell's relationship with them whilst denying he liked Jason or Victor. Brilliant but deeply unpleasantmove.

The two people who did do well last night were Stuart and Michelle - who were both calm and sensible - Stuart actually held back Victor which is even braver than grabbing Emma. Vanessa also summed up the hareem extremely clearly and seems to have been willing to help Shell out with Nadia at her worst - though the jury still needs to see the details of what happened and how she did it.

Dan is playing the game, certainly, but maybe he isn't going so far as to "scheme". If I was in the house, I think I'd probably "do a Dan", by which I mean I'd try to be everyone's friend. He tries to act kindly and sincerely, although obviously he's only human and sometimes he snaps. He can be quite annoyingly patronising towards the younger housemates, but at least he tends to rise above the bitching: I think this is because he is one of the few housemates with an ordinary level of self-esteem.

Dan has more than the edge over Vanessa.

Dan is playing the game alright. As soon as he registered that Emma & Michelle were back in he looked at his options and chose the brown nose route with the 'harem'. It will save him for another couple of weeks at least.

Funny it wasn't hat long ago that he was on the 'other' side slagging off the 'harem' group. Emma's too thick to see through it though.

You've got to hand it to Stu though he is playing a really good game at the moment. Even though he can be an annoying twerp most of the time.

Maybe Dan did have an agenda last night but I can't help but be impressed with how he kept his cool in there. He has gone up (a little) in my estimation.

i just think he's acting what he is - a mature human with failings. just like most of us

have any of you ever found yourself bored and irritated by the way other people deal with boredom? i know i have, and i've bitched too - but openly like dan does.

on the whole, i think he actually can see the good in most people and condemns their actions rather than the people themselves .....
