I was hoping the guys would lose so David would get booted for crying about a tooth.

I think Tijana got kind of a raw deal. She didn't seem to do that much wrong apart from the team turning on her.
It should have been Lisa. She has a weak track record and didn't exactly do great on that task either. Plus she was being so wishy-washy keeping on changing her mind on who should get fired. |

As for the candidates, I'd be actually afraid to work with David, he's a genuine nutcase, and Mahsa is simply a very nasty piece of work - they make for "good TV", so will stick around for a while, but I hope neither gets within sniffing diatance of the final... |

Correct decision this time. Wade's head was on the chopping block since two tasks ago, and Gene ballsed that one up, spectacularly.

![]() But what was Gene thinking? He seemed to be serious when he said he had presentation experience, so I can only guess that nerves just sent him over the edge on the day. Wade was dead wood too, of course - he deserved to go if only for not having a rehearsal... (And note to self, never ever say to The Donald, "You can fire me if you like.") |

In my opinion, Brandy is the only winner. She's a cert for the final 2.
But I just don't understand why everyone turns on Liza at every opportunity. Yes, she can be annoying, but even if it is clearly not her fault for the failure of the task, they all gang up on her?? |

It seems like every episode there's one person who I go from not having an opinion on to really disliking!! This time it was Stephanie! She's so up herself! She kept saying Kelly didn't own up to any of her mistakes but neither did she. I'm not saying she should've been fired because she's been strong in previous tasks, but her decision about location was the main reason why they lost.
I can't stand her, Mahsa or Liza. All very aggresive, argumentative, overly defensive and whiny. As Brandy said, if you're confident in yourself you don't need to boast about how great you are. God I love Brandy! She is head and shoulders above everyone else. Poppy seems alright as well, a good team player. Probably not a strong enough leader to win the whole thing, but definitely not a liability within the team. As for the men, LOL at David. He has well and truly lost his mind. |

More boardroom craziness this week. Why didn't they all just beat the crap out of her?!! Brutal lol
Good on David for winning the task for the men though

I was so impressed with this week's boardroom - we hear so much about TPTB keeping in the nasty contestants in reality shows for the sake of "good TV", but seeing The Donald give Mahsa the elbow was brilliant, I was smiling for the rest of the evening after that!
Brandy & Clint for the final! |

I actually quite like Liza, don't know why they keep ganging up on her. I think Trump has a soft spot for her but there's no way she is strong enough to win.
I'd say Brandy, Clint, Steuart and Poppy will be the last 4, with Stephanie 5th So I predict 1st - Brandy 2nd - Clint 3rd - Poppy 4th - Steuart 5th - Stephanie 6th - Anand 7ty - Liza 8th - David |

Is this any good? How does it compare to the UK series this year?
i watched season 1-6 of US apprentice and after that it got shit so I stopped. UK has always maintained its quality whereas the the US one went downhill since they were doing it twice a year. btw, anyone want to watch this should type for watch us tv series in google or go to a certain website (Clue: Swedish Pirates) which has all the episodes. |

The current series is the first in a few years to not feature celebrities, though the format has kept some elements e.g. the winning project manager getting to meet a top business mentor, and the winning team being able to watch the losers in the boardroom via TV. This really caused some drama in the most recent programme when one of the winning team was offended by something said in the boardroom - and I won't say any more in case it's considered a spoiler!
Personally, this season is the best in about 5 years. |

at the condescending and strong general sense of homophobic attitude in the boardroom to David's 'coming out' scene. Are we really in 2010 here?...Brandy to win, I guess! |

Donald trump was being playful, something he does very well. I don't think he was being homophobic in any shape or form (not that there's anything wrong with being homophobic)
I mean, a joke could have been made out of it and I did think it was kind of funny at first. But it was overdone and something about the tone made me uncomfortable. I don't think it was just Donald, it was just the general feeling of the conversation. It was acting like it was something to be ashamed of and mocked. But the fact that you don't think there's anything wrong with it probably excludes you from this point of conversation anyway. |

I think the US version has aged really badly - it started off all about how great money was, it was all Trump saying look how fabulously wealthy I am, look how much gold I have in my dining room, you too could be like me! It was basically a competition to become a Master of the Universe, circa Gordon Gecko and the Bonfire of the Vanities. And it was quite good fun watching these people prostitute themselves on TV for even a glimmer of that kind of life.
Then it became all about the cult of Trump, with his hot girlfriends and daughter, his idiot sons, his damn buildings all over the place. The celebrity version was okay, because it stripped out all the naked greed that the earlier shows displayed, and became more about the game. It also allowed them to sidestep the thorny issue of the economy tanking. But this year, they just can't get the balance between the hard luck stories of the candidates, and the still prevalent (even in the theme song!) greedy theme. And Trump has become a caricature of himself - he just shouts everything, and nobody dare challenge him, and he still can't stop promoting himself. This weeks task about his clothing line in Macy's was particularly irritating and self serving. Compare that to the UK version, which was always a little less flash and a little more realistic, and was never really about making someone richer than God, but more about presenting them with an opportunity they could run with or not. And it goes from strength to strength as a result. I think the US version needs to ditch Trump, as he is the one stinking up the joint if you ask me - him and his hideous off spring! Wasn't there a Martha Stewart version at one stage - never saw it, but maybe that was more interesting (would be more interesting now that she is a convict as well!!) Paul, just venting! |

Should be very entertaining. I reckon that's got Liza/Poppy written all over it. |
