Finally treated myself to the complete Miami Vice series on DVD. It was my favourite show as a teenager and I had a huge crush on Don Johnson . I bought the first season on DVD when it first came out several years ago, but didn't bother with any more. The complete series has much stronger quality packaging and is built to last longer, so am very pleased. I aim to watch an episode a night from start to finish. Months of quality viewing ahead, starting tonight!

Just waiting for the Prison Break blu ray to arrive.

It's been a couple of years now so will be nice to watch all the way through again.

Slightly cheating since not itself a box-set but I'm loving gritty police drama "Braquo" which I recorded on FX and am watching now as a box-set. These guys make "The Shields" Vic Mackey appear about as violent as Miss Marple.

Sons of Anarchy Season 3. I'm totally addicted to it, I find it difficult to have to stop watching it in the small hours of the morning to go to bed!

I am watching the Chronological version of Lost. I am up to episode 93 - the one in which Sun loses the ability to speak English - and I have not many to go.

Can I include Misfits on 4OD via the Xbox 360?

Up to episode 3...never seen it before but heard good things about it...great concept and some great acting and writing.

I'm pretty new to this show as i've only seen a few episodes,it was enough for me to go out & buy the boxset. So just before christmas i bought myself the complete series boxset which includes all 11 seasons, the film & a bunch of extra features.Picked it up for £49 from HMV of all places.Finshed Season 1 yesterday & have already started Season 2.

Thanks for that recommendation!

Looked it up and does look good! Missing The Shield and missed this when it appeared on FX UK (Or is it still playing?). However I have managd to find the complete season one with English subs and will be devouring this soon. I read season 2 has recently completed its French TV run so hopefully season 2 complete with English subs will surface soon. This could easily form part of BBC4s Eurofiction slot!

Watching buffy the vampire slayer season 3, already got through seasons 1 and 2 in like 3 days.

I'm skipping most of the duller, non-storyline related episodes. If theres no character development, then i ain't watching it, case in point "Gingerbread".

I have to disagree, I think 'Gingerbread' is a fantastic episode. Just because some episodes aren't directly in line with the overall narrative of a particular season doesn't mean they should be overlooked. Just saying.

Anywho, at the moment I've been watching a LOT of Dexter, pretty much consistently for a couple of weeks, and have completed seasons 2-5, currently halfway through season 6. I watched season 1 years ago when it first aired but I didn't carry on with the rest of it, even though I was still interested, then recently I decided I'd catch up on what I've missed, which is tonnes. What a brilliant show.

Sons of Anarchy season 3. It's better since they reached Ireland, but overall the plot of trying to find Abel has dragged on too long. The lack of urgency from Jax is baffling.

Also Gemma Teller is one of my least favourite characters on TV, so her increased role is pissing me off.......

I'm re-watching Buffy at the moment. I haven't seen any of it for years. Will be starting on Boardwalk Empire when it arrives. Haven't seen it yet.
