I have spent the past 4 months working through all of my CSI box sets. I'm now on Season 10 and have only got 20 episodes left
When i've done i'm going to be lost. I've been watching episodes pretty much every night since before Christmas.I may be tempted to start looking at CSI Miami. I've never watched it before despite loving the original.

Really looking forward to getting the first disc of Fringe Season 2 tomorrow from LoveFilm! The first season was excellent and amazingly I have managed to stay mostly unspoiled. I always seem to get tv show boxsets ruined for me

Have been collecting TV series for a couple of years. Always said I wouldn't
Big mistake, between episodes missing/out off order/cut to shreds or just rubbish reception (not forgetting the incessant blatting of their announcers, 'Oh er, in't it exciting?') Beginning to suspect Sky get a cut on the DVD sales all this must promote. They've certainly encouraged me to buy DVDs rather than watch Sky's offerings Just worked my way through SG1. Currently on the final season of SG Atlantis. Only ever saw couple of episodes of both on TV. Next on the agenda, SGU (which I have seen on TV) aaaand then BSG only ever saw pilot. Lost was the first series I ever bought on DVD. Watched Season 1 -5 a couple of times and really enjoyed it BUT then the finale. Doubt I'll watch it again, don't think I could really 'get into it' knowing what the final episode is like. |

Near the end of Season 3 of The Sopranos. Great stuff but I want more Dr. Melfi! Also watching Season 3 of Farscape. Watching it for the first time but is taking months to watch as I'm watching it with my brother who I only see every second weekend. It's one of my favourite shows but god, I really hate John Crichton!

Firefly - for the first ever time. Everyone was banging on about how amazing it was so I watched it expecting to be disappointed as it is so hyped, but it's truly brilliant. I started watching two days ago and have almost finished.

Not really boxsets as they arent out on DVD, but recently acquired fondly remembered one season wonders...
Prey Brimstone Vengeance Unlimited. ... and realising why they only lasted the one season and that I had pretty low expectations in the late 90s.. |

Just completed Modern Family Season 1 and 2. Seriously funny stuff.
I've now started the Big Bang Theory Season 1-4. I've already seen all the episodes, but the box set was £20 out of HMV of all places! I do have a question to ask. I currently own 24 seasons 1-6. I am missing Redemption and seasons 7 and 8. Do you guys think I should pay the extra and get the complete box set? I am a little bit picky and I like all my box sets to match (plus a couple of the boxes are damaged). Is it a little insane to do something like that? |

Redemption is terrible. They’d have to pay me to watch that again. S8 however is one of the best and sends the series off in fine style.
