I work for myself and sleep about 3 hours a day. I have 3 monitors on my computer, so I can watch DVDs in WMP on one of the screens while working on the other two. I can't stand the silence, and I've watched certain stuff so many times (Friends, West Wing) that I can have it playing and know exactly what's happening, even if I'm not 100% looking at the video playing.
Wow your a major tv/game etc geek

Fair play. I admire your commitment.

I actually found the final series of The Sopranos to be a bit of a letdown after what had gone before. The ending was good, very fitting - but the rest of it wasn't a patch on the previous five series.
Just watched my last 2 episodes, and i think i am missing the final episode, surely that has to be one of the worst series ending EVER. They ended it like a season ending cliff hanger rather than the final episode.

I had a look at the blu ray edition and noticed that season 1 is out and priced at £28, think i will wait and come back to the sopranos when the price becomes more reasonable, i am not willing to pay more than £18 for a full tv season or £10 for a movie, in blu ray.

I will try to squeeze in Firefly blu ray edt this weekend before i hopefully get halo reach on either mon or tues, heres hoping for getting it delivered the day b4 launch as normal.

Just recently received the entire Sherlock Holmes series with the late great Jeremy Brett. Loved it when it was on tv. Am not too impressed with the new sherlock though.

I finished the Cowboy Bebop box set earlier today, I had forgotten what a great series it is.

I'm thinking about getting Black Lagoon, which I've never watched before. Is it worth a bash?

Finished Jeremiah. Was gonna go back to Oz, but as much as I enjoy it I need something a little less dark at the mo.

Gonna catch up with this week's shows and once Im back on track I will finally start on my first run of Battlestar Galactica. Tried watching once and never got beyond Part 1 of the Mini series, but at the time I was in the mood for something non-sci fi.

Oz. Downloaded them all the other week. Really good series, albeit very violent.

Have recently watched 39 episodes of Sword of Freedom. Edmund Purdom poor but watching all the other well known actors and the starlets never seen again except for Joan Plowright (wife of Sir Lawrence Olivier) playing the Mona Lisa and Adrienne Corri and a young Jane Asher made it worthwhile. Now watching the first 6/20 of Man of the World. Have been to Algeria at the time of independence with French and Algerian terrorists and to the IndoChina border with incursions by the chinese into India. Some heavy stories amongst the lightweight episodes so far.

Rewatching Rome. Historically well dodgy but a finely told piece of drama. A great series - definetly in my top 5

Not long finished the James Bond box set. Every James Bond film and associated extras (on a separate disc) The extras took longer then the movies.

my current 2 dramas are:

24 season 6 (first time watching)
Smallville season 6 (first time watching)

and my comedy is:

Sabrina season 4 (first time watching on dvd, though seen hundreds of times on tv years ago)

I try to stick to 1 ep of 24 a day, and about 3/4 eps of the other 2 per week when i get chance

4/6 episodes into Peep Show season 6; fancied something short after taking about a year to watch 5 seasons of House; it also fills the gap until House season 6 comes out.

Glee, I'm on episode 6. I've seen most of the 2nd half of the season but missed a lot of the start of it so thought I'd get the Boxset to catch up and I love it anyway.

Bebop is great isn't it.

Black Lagoon is worth checking out. It's like some sort of Firefly/Cowboy Bebop hybrid.

If you're getting through anime at a fair pace, Beez Entertainment's 'Anime Legends' are currently knocking out a load of boxsets for around £15 each, including Witch Hunter Robin, Eureka 7, Escaflowne (soon), and a shedload of Gundam (Wing, Seed, Seed Destiny - and they're currently knocking out 00 in volumes as well).

Just finished The Inbetweeners Season 2, now on Spooks Season 7, and after that my R1 copy of Friday Night Lights Season 4 has just turned up.

Although, I'm tempted to catch up on some anime now myself, Last Exile, Macross Frontier and a few others are vying for my attention now....

Tonight I felt like watching something "short" so I finally dug out the Spike limited run series Kill Point which Ive had for a number of years in my Pending folder! Quite enjoying it. Have just sat through the first four episodes, and not having to rise early tomorrow I might just watch the remaining 4 episodes now as its enjoyable non-labourious viewing.

Have watched loads of long-running shows from my pending folder lately, so I think I might stick to shorter run shows for the next few weeks as a bit of a break. Still have Sleeper Cell (need to rewatch season 1 before watching season 2 for the first time), Generation kill, Spielberg's Taken and a few 4 hour minis in my pending folder that i might watch next.

Currently watching The Norm Show, hopefully Less Than Perfect will have arrived by the time I've finished watching it, or else I'll probably rewatch Rodney or Gary Unmarried.
