I'm halfway through the brilliant Breaking Bad.

It's funny because I never watched it when it was on as I thought it wouldn't be my kind of thing at all, after all, how gripping can cancer & meth cooking be?...how wrong I was!

I loathe Walter White though, it's all about Jesse Pinkman for me, yo!

I'm halfway through Season 5 now & when I'm done I shall be going back to working my way through Sons of Anarchy

I was planning on watching a few seasons of 24. Last week on my Virgin Media TV package, there were 5 seasons of it listed in the 'What's New' category. Great, I thought, so I watched the first 6 episodes of season 1, went to the menu this morning, seasons 2, 3, 4, and 5 are now gone and seasons 7 and 8 are in there. Not just in the 'What's New' but in the whole menu, those seasons have disappeared. What the hell, are you meant to watch 5 seasons (24 episodes each season, 45 minutes per episode) in ONE WEEK!?!?!?!?! Grrr. They do dumb stuff like this all the time, leave really good programs in there for only a week, meanwhile Princess Diana's Death and Amy Winehouse's funeral have been on the menu for a year, at least. No offense to either of them, but it's hardly news and I'm sure everyone who wanted to watch it has seen it. Make room for some quality programming, you nitwits.

I feel better now. It is irksome though to invest your time into something to have the rug pulled out from under you mid-way through.

I see series one of Wallander is on there, I may give that a go. Swedish version.

After Breaking Bad I thought nothing would ever come close, but then I watched my box series of The Wire which was bloody amazing! That complete I'm now giving The Shield a go which is really good, despite the lead being Grant Mitchell's double which is a bit disconcerting!!!

I'm currently watching season 4 on tv, and looking back I would say that seasons 1 and 2 were the most fun to watch.

I've just finished watching Breaking Bad & I'm gutted because I don't know if I'll ever watch anything as good as this again.

Just move on to The Wire or Sopranos
Different types of shows but every bit as good

I finished The Sopranos in the summer. Then moved onto Breaking Bad.

Should I just retire from TV?
