Thing with The Wire is each series is told by a different perspective. I think it may have been S2 I had to persevere with the most, but S4 that's told from the 'school kids' perspective is really excellent TV. I really started seeing the other side of the coin to the police view and to how kids get to end up on 'the corners'.

I've started watching the Soprano's, I'm hoping it lives up to expectations
I didn't know that about the perspective thing, so is the show one continuous story throughout?

I've just finished watching The Sopranos and really enjoyed it, not as good as BB but excellent nonetheless.

Scrubs- Season One.

I've never seen the show before but caught the first episode on a freeview channel recently and had to order the box set of the first season to watch them in chronological order.

Recently watched all episodes of Suits to the season 5 mid-season break - got to wait until January now!

Quick question - curiosity getting to me! Do you tend to binge watch one show at a time or several? I always watch one - even if it leads me to being months behind on stuff that's currently airing!

Yes, but brings different people in as the main characters for that season, but with the main cast still there or thereabouts (if that makes sense)!

I've only seen the pilot of The Sopranos so far as I can only really watch after my OH and kids go to bed so I can relax & watch in peace!

Recently finished a rewatch of Third Watch, and am now currently rewatching Desperate Housewives as all eight seasons are on Sky On Demand.

Yeah definitely best not to have the kids around when watching The Sopranos!

I see what you mean by S2 of The Wire and having to persevere it wasn't until ep 6 that I felt it has gotten going, up until then it was dragging it felt like a lot of nothing. I felt the same with the first season, are all the seasons like this, they take a few episodes before picking up?

I see what you mean about Omar as well, I love him, he just DGAF.

I liked season 2 of the Wire, mainly because of the character of Frank Sobotka. I can understand that people missed the antics of the corner boys, but it was an integral part of the whole. My least favourite season was the last one. I couldn't get invested in the characters at the newspaper or the main storyline. None of the people at the paper mattered to me and I didn't really like all the McNulty stuff that season.

Currently watching Seinfeld. Halfway through the third season. What a hilarious show, can't believe I'd never watched it before.

S3 & S4 are two of the best seasons of any show in TV history. Have no fear.

I've been watching The Wire On Demand with Sky .... Got up to the last episode on Series 3 only to discover they've removed the remaining series from demand !!

Why !!!!

Well that's good to know as I've just finished S2 and didn't enjoy it as much as S1 so I'm glad it's set to get better because so far I haven't seen what the fuss is about! I don't think it's bad or anything, the writing and acting are all good but that's it at the moment it's just good not great like its claimed to be by many. So I'm curious to see how I find the next season.

They do this with Sky, they put box sets on there but they usually have a time limit on how long they will be available for it usually says when you go to watch it, available until...(insert date). I guess they want to make room for newer/different shows. The same thing happened with me I started watching The Sopranos and then it was taken off I knew it was going to, I just didn't get time to get through it all, so I went and found the episodes elsewhere, if you know what I mean!

I'm currently binge watching Chuck on Netflix & I'm really enjoying it 😊 I'd never thought about watching the show before did it even air on UK TV?

I also recently binged all 5 seasons of Suits in about 3 weeks now I have that annoying wait for new episodes to air 😩

I'm not currently watching anything, but I've been thinking about watching House. I keep hearing good things about it and I like Hugh Laurie, so I think I'll watch an episode or 2 tonight.

Only Fools and Horses... again.
Recently Inspector George Gently, Judge John Deed (absolutely brilliant series), The Professionals and The Sweeney.
Game of Thrones, seasona 1 and 5 were the best imo.
Breaking bad was over rated, I gave up during season 2 of that.
24 was one of my favourite long running series, I binged watched all of that on Sky On demand last year, I really recommend this to anyone who hasn't seen it but bare in mind there are around 180 episodes so is a big commitment!

I watched the first episodes of The Wire and Castle but decided against carrying on with them as they didn't really grab me.

After years of dismissing the Marvel universe as a load of nonsense written for kids, I've found myself really getting into it all now. Currently working my way through Agent Carter and Agents of SHIELD.

Just finished the first season of Sense8, very enjoyable.

Now started watching Mr Robot, which looks very good so far.
