Went through the first season of Vice Principals, not too bad.

We have amazon and now tv now. We are greedy like that. I have been watching a fair few shows.

Spy - British comedy. Didn't think much to it

The Spa - Short lived british comedy. Really liked this. Brilliant cast and comedy. Shame it never found an audience

Threesome - Interesting plot. Strong chemistry between the three characters. Very very short on laughs.

Hello Ladies - Never been keen on Stephen Merchant and this show didn't do anything to change it

Mount Pleasant - Loved the first season. Season 2 wasn't great. And season 3 was still no improvement so i dropped it.

Crisis In Six Scenes - I didn't like this at all. The word Pretentious springs to mind.

One Mississippi - Funny. sad and beautifully acted.

Greys Anatomy - I must be the last on the bandwagon! Binged watched 2 and a half series in a matter of weeks. Now working my way through series 2 and "Dennygate"!

Binged watched both seasons of Inside No 9. Fantastic british anthology series. Not every episode was a winner but i loved the majority of the episodes. The one with Sheridan Smith was my fav as it took on a serious and dark turn than the others and it had a heartbreaking shock twist.

Currently watching Pushing Daisies. First time seeing this show. Pity there was only the two seasons of it.

Braquo. French police/crime series. Incredibly violent but with bags of style. I think anyone who enjoyed "Spiral" will be similarly drawn to this. Available on demand with our Virgin package. It's rated 8.1 on IMDB.

Tried to like Alpha House, Red Oaks and Mozart in the jungle. Neither did it for me.

Currently watching the third season of The Night Shift

Will then binge watch the fourth season of a place to call home.

I did the same as you last year with it. This is why I like discovering tv shows years after everyone else when there's loads of series to watch.

I'm currently watching Quantico and cold case series 3 repeated on pick

Love Cold case.

half way into season 2 and getting a little bit sick of Eddy, leather pants being worn to a job - leather in general - and endless moody cigarettes. Feel v sorry for Eddy's dog too
I doubt I'm going to get the whole way through this. I'm trying to keep up my french and it's really good for that, as for some reason, they don't speak in slang that much (Unlike the movie 36 Quai d'Orfevres, which was unintelligible in french unless you speak fluent french slang). But I do like the Walter character.

I hadn't noticed the pants, but they certainly like their leather jackets. I do like it that none of them are particularly attractive, though I think Eddy used to be a bit of a heartthrob. It's all very "grungy" isn't it ? They all look in need of a good shower and shave, even the women.
I'm coming to the end of series 2, I think I'll stay with it.

Jean Hughes Anglade first made his name with Betty Blue. On the other hand, the actor who plays Walter was apparently on his beam ends until he got the Braquo job, so good luck to him. I might stay with it. I'll see just how much leather I can tolerate
As for the guy who plays the I.A obsessive, he's effortlessly annoying so I suppose well cast. I could do with some reflection; some down time from all the violence but only Walter's family and Roxane's dad (now written out) offered that. I still far prefer it to Spiral though.

A boxset I really liked (mentioned on another thread) is The Outlaws. Wacky Belgian noir about a truly appalling brother in law and 4 inept sisters trying to bump him off.

Into the badlands
Gorgeous to look at. Brilliant fighting scenes. But i found it boring to be honest. Despite only being six episodes, it still felt far too long to waste my time to continue.

Putting The Crown well inside my top ten of the year, vying with Leftovers and the second series of Fargo, Goliath and Night of for top three. I am wondering whether I'll actually get to the end of House, on season 7 but not really enjoyed the last two seasons as much. Haven't enjoyed the second series of Outlander too much, historically though they have got Prince Charlie about right not because he was a dreamer and a fool or because of his Jacobite rebellion but his ineptitude in the way he led it.

what is Fargo season 2 on please? I don't (yet) have Netflix, just Sky and Amazon.

Braquo season 3 seems to have gone back to Vogel so not sure I'll bother. Some of the plot holes make Swiss cheese look solid. Hard to believe it's the same writer as un Prophète and Mesrine.

Season 1 of Quantico which I hope to finish before the New Year, followed by Daredevil season 2 and Outlander Season 2.

I've somehow managed to struggle through most of season 1 of Daredevil. The acting Is pretty terrible all round. Frisk in particular is atrocious. I might watch season 2 at some point in the future if there's nothing else to watch.

Sainsbury's are currently churning out boxed sets for a score. Yesterday I noticed they had On The Buses (11 discs) but I'm sure I've seen every episode now and it's usually on ITV3 most days.

Lucifer. Although it's just another cop show with a gimmicky twist, I'm liking it so far.

Started Once Upon A Time from the beginning again, currently on Season 3.

Henry is annoying and Emma is self righteous and hypocritical (and played by a bad actress) but it's a fun watch, aside from the really slow Season 2 and the Neverland arc.
