I'm a bit confused so fill me in. Everyone I know hates this harmless 16 year old boy and I just can't imagine why.

His music is rubbish, smug and plastic but surely he's no worse than Ja-a-a-aaaaaason Deruuuuullllo or the Saturdays or the awful Scouting For Girls?

He actually comes across as a nice kid in interviews and so far has done nothing to warrant such bile.

Maybe there's something I'm missing?

i don't really pay much attention to his music but i think it's due to people seeing him as a teen sensation and having fame and success because of his fanbase and not his musical talent.

'A nice kid'? Much of the hate comes from him being an arrogant little s***, as demonstrated here and here. Neither he or his management have properly denied any of it so there you go.

He does show signs of arrogance, which probably rubbed on to him from his mentor.

If you look closely at the language of those articles every opportunity to make a reference to his young age is taken, which just makes it look like propaganda in order to show that he's a “spoilt little brat”. Maybe it's the fact that he's very young yet successful that people can't get with. 'Cause so far I can't see what's so awful about him that distinguishes him from similar artists.

Stating the obvious, his fans only like him 'cause of his looks. Period. Don't let anyone tell you less. The amount of Twitter accounts I've come across called 'IsextheBeiber' 'Beibergetinme'' all that BS is disturbing lol.

BUT I don't think it's right to throw a bottle of water at him or whatever. He's just a 16 year old boy who's living his dream. Fair enough, people don't like him.. but who's earning more cash? it's certainly not us...

He's hated because people, especially on this forum, always need someone to hate on for being 'talentless' and 'unfairly' being famous/rich. It doesn't matter if these people are in fact incessantly criticising a 16 year old boy, he doesn't deserve happiness or to live his dream if they say he doesn't.

He has no talent
So somebody who sings, dances, plays guitar/drums/trumpet and more and is self taught in all of these things is now the equivalent of having no talent? You must be extremely talented to have standards that high.

This is him at 12-13 years old, having had no training at all. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eQOFR...eature=related
Just a boy singing in his living room because it's something he loves. He then got an opportunity to do it for a living. A 15 year old kid is offered to live his dream, travel around the world, be on TV, and he's hated for taking this opportunity? Seriously?

Having seen him live at the Summertime Ball I think he's actually very good. And no I'm not a pre-teen who is in love with him, he actually entertained me a hell of a lot more than the headline act, Rihanna, whose music I much prefer.

They haven't properly denied it? Does that mean they have or they haven't, as I'm not sure how can you judge a 'proper' denial?

The key words that should be noted in both those articles are 'according to a report' and 'allegedly'. From then, I stop reading

Justin Bieber's music is terrible and the majority of his fanbase solely like him because of his looks rather than any musical ability he has. That said, stuff like throwing bottles of water at him is going too far

I don't get it that much ever, He can sing, He's cute. But he is manufactured because his dosen't write any of his songs (going by what said on the my world album, haven't got part 2). He also seems very spolit as there have been many occasions where he has "apparently abused people with his language etc. So i guess the batton is spilt.

He comes across as if he is a super-mega-amazing star, when his success is actually not that great. Most of the hype surrounds his celebrity and not actually his music.

It's OK, though. His voice will drop and he'll get stubble soon so his teeny-bopper fans will hopefully grow up with him but abandon him when they see sense.

Jealousy. That is the main reason. People are jealous of his looks, his success, and the fact millions of girls fancy him. JEALOUS.

They hate him and automatically think he's gay just by hearing his music. They don't even know him in person!

I dislike him but I think he looks like a lesbian girl, and I don't really care if girls fancy me or not since it's not my thing

I'd like the money he has, but that's about it.

What I mean is that in the article from the newspaper, it says he 'denied' what had been said, but only mentioned him saying on his Twitter 'people spread false rumours' but never referred to the incidents in question.

I know it'd be foolish to believe everything you read in the papers, but if I was accused of such things as stated in those 2 articles, I would strongly deny them if they were untrue. Several people backed up the story about him on the Australian tv show, and as for the other one - Fearne Cotton said it herself on her show. Seems all true to me.

Or just irritated that he's popular solely because he appeals to teen girls.

That and his music is god awful.
