Minus the Bear - Get Me Naked 2: Electric Boogaloo
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PiOE1uSHUr4

I could genuinely listen to this on repeat my whole life and not get bored. It's the beautiful chilled out effect that bursts out of it that gets me hooked everytime. And it just fits perfectly on repeat.

Anyone have any other song that has this sort of effect on them?

edit: here's a guitar version, Im no fanboy but that's just magical

I listen to Röyksopp - Happy Up Here quite a lot. It's just got such a great spirit about it

But my ears tend to get bored of any song if I play it too often, no matter how much I love it, so I try to avoid doing that.

Dan Black - U + Me

Then my usual dose of Pixie Lott and Rachel Furner playing endlessly away.

Yes, I do.

Pet Shop Boys - Some Speculation

I never get bored of it, I've 'scrobbled' it on Last.fm more than 100 times, including 66 plays on my iPod, and many more on my desktop. Neil's vocals are at his best, it has a hypnotic feel about it and 6 minutes just fly by. Another bonus is that it came out after I was born! Most music I like came out before 1993, but this beats everything I have from any era.

Heart of glass by Blondie The great thing about the six weeks holidays is that I do not have to hear Lady GaGa all the time. I hate her so much.

It's a random choice but I really like 'Can't Keep Me Silent' by Angelic (2001), it has a Faithless-esque swirling melody and some really quite powerful lyrics for a dance song!

More up to date, I hate Rihanna but I love her new song 'Hard' lol

I never really think english modern music is good enough to have on repeat in my opinion. One for me has to be an addictive, different, inspiring song that probably no one else listens to in this country.

Check these out: i call these ones for repeat:

Ooh another Hey Monday fan! There is only an acoustic version...

I can't stop listening to "Made to Measure", it's on the new Hoosiers album and it's fantastic

I bought this last night! Such a very underrated song. I absolutely love it! Classic Cribs! And the video is fab too.

----------

Anyway, songs that I can listen to on repeat are:

Can't Stand Me Now - The Libertines
I'm dreadful for that one. I listen to it at least three times a day now, and just don't get sick of it. Every time I listen to it, it's like the first time I've heard it.

Mardy Bum - Arctic Monkeys
I don't know why, but I've been listening to this a lot lately. The bit I love most: "Oh, when you say I don't care, well of course I do, yeah I clearly do!" I could just scream that in a certain person in my life's ear right now, I tell you....

I could listen to most Oasis songs on repeat. And Muse songs. I just never get tired of them. MGMT are another band with a selection of songs that I can just press the repeat button for. Even Siberian Breaks!

Am I the only one who thinks they are a poor man's Paramore? I like them, a lot, but with Paramore around it's going to be very hard for bands such as themselves and VersaEmerge to get a break.

The acoustic version is very different to the one on the album actually

Ugh! Wouldn't compare a gloriously poppy band like HH to Paramore who just suck the life out a tune. Paramore try too hard to be cool, practicing their 'look' for Kerrang
