Samsung Epic 4G....
I had my eyes just set on the Samsung Galaxy S... then I hear about the Epic 4G... and am rather smitten
(ok.. I WANT! )link to samsung USA and engadget.. Does anybody know a little more about UK release and possible pricing? I'm just after the handset..unless a Tesco 12 month plan is on the horizon

sigh.. I wish they would give some more details as to if and when it would come over the pond to Europe. The idea of pairing the Samsung Galaxy with a proper keyboard is just .. well.. ace

4g isn't supported in the UK so I doubt this phone will ever be released over here.

Have you tried an iPhone Ju?
Since then, of course antenagate has been well documented and put me off.. well, also the fact that apple's tight control of apps means only the approved apps can be downloaded unless the iPhone is jailbroken (which I would deem a must, but thus breaking T+Cs is making me feel a little dogdy ).Hence I have been looking for alternatives to the iPhone and the Samsung Galaxy S seems to be doing the trick. In fact, I am itching to get my hands on it.. and just as I my decision swung in favour of the Samsung I heard about the Epic4 with the qwertz keyboard on board. Seeing that I have never used a touch screen phone (except for the play on that iPhone) I am somwhat reluctant to part with a physical keyboard... Just a shame there's now news so far if the Epic 4 (aka Galaxy S pro) will be round the UK soon too...because that itch is getting stronger and stronger.. not that I am affluent at all but somewhow money I don't really have is still burning a hole in my pockets

It appears to be CDMA only, not GSM. Therefore it won't work in the UK.
