buying an ipod touch

Hi

I am looking to replace a broken 8gb walkman s618f, I have £60 of argos vouchers and I was looking at the 8gb Ipod touch, do I buy it now or will prices go down within the next mont or so,

Either way, the prices for the existing models will come down; Morrisons were recently selling a 32GB touch (forget which gen) for £120 which is bargain in any right.

So if you can wait until mid September for the refresh and don't mind having last years model, do that.

As has been said, if price is at all important to you, please wait until the launch of the iTouch 4th gen probably in mid-September as that will cause prices of all previous models to fall very soon afterwards.

Thanks for that I will wait till september, Ive got a camera and my own retinas work fairly well so i think I will wait and go for some cheap old tech
