I had an extremely good experience at the Carphone Warehouse today. My Nokia E63 came a cropper when I hit some gravel at high speed while I was on my Pashley. I took it down to the Carphone Warehouse to claim on my warranty, but they didn't have another in stock. They asked if I would mind if they replaced it with a Nokia E72 while letting my keep my original contract. It would have been impolite to refuse the offer.

Ahh the sacrifices one must make.

I am charging the E72 now.

I once got a replacement for a phone that I dropped down 4 flights of stairs at car phone warehouse. It was in the first 30 days and I told them that it wasnt working anymore and I didnt know why and they replaced it.

Cant believe they did that!

These days I have insurance for those kind of things though.

No, it was under their insurance policy (free for 1st month), so I had to pay £30 excess. I am still delighted though.
