hi,

I've got an iPhone Online 35 plan. I just got an e-mail that says that I have unlimited web and wi-fi until September 30th.

Does this mean I can go over the 500mb allowence? I'm currently on 81.4mb and have only had the phone 3 days. I'm enabling 3GS as I can't get on to any wi-fi network at the minute.

Also, does using wi-fi not count towards your data usage?

Thanks

Yes you can go over 500 mb up until September the 30th. You can use as much as you want until then.

And no wi-fi usage will not come out of your data allowance.

Ah right, thanks. So after 30th Sepember, it'll be 3G usage that comes out of the data allowence? Think that'll get used up really quickly unless I sort my wireless out at home

Are you sure, I thought the Unlimited was still subject to a FUP, they just didn't state the terms of the FUP. I know that continuous streaming is not allowed currently.

The terms are clear, there is no numerical limit but you are not allowed to continuously stream, cannot use the handset as a modem and cannot use the SIM in a dongle, gateway or laptop.

Well obviously there will be some rules and regualtions, and it will be subject to fair use. It does say in the conditions that you shouldn't use it for continual streaming.
