Paul O'Grady to join Emmerdale as a Dingle???!!!
aka Lily Savage, for those who weren't sure.
This started off as a tiny rumour after the Soap Awards where he met Emmerdale bosses and said he wanted a part in a soap and apparently something would possibly be arranged...now it's turned into something a bit more solid, so might well be true. I mean what the hell? Will anyone be able to take him seriously? Can he even act?? And a Dingle of all things, surely it just won't fit?! If this is indeed true, I hope any worries are soon expelled. But this could be disastrous! |

If the other guys actually watched Emmerdale they would see it makes perfect sense, the guy looks/talks/behaves like a Dingle already.
It seems to me they're forgetting that Emmerdale is 50% panto. That or they just like complaining for no reason. Maybe both |

Maybe both He behaves and looks NOTHING like a Dingle, so he will have to pull off playing the part convincingly. Peter Kay was a one-off. And frankly more beleivable a prospect anyway because he was a stand alone character. And a good actor. As I SAID in my first post, I await and hope that any worries of him being a terrible addition will amount to nothing, I have not said he will be terrible for certain, I'm saying I'm worried he will be. |

Yeah, I'd seen that a few days ago, though wasn't sure whether to post a link or anything because I couldn't remember if it was allowed or not, considering how funny they get over stuff like that here

I think you are OK to post a link as long as you don't post too many.
