Matt Evers has said on his twitter that he's not sure about DOI yet, but he's keeping his fingers crossed. isn't it a bit weird that they've already signed new pros but the old ones don't know if they're coming back?

It might be that they aren't supposed to say yet. Last year I met alot of them late August and none would confirm whether they were doing it.

Looks as if there is deffo a BIG shake up on the cards, quite a lot of new pros by sounds of it.

Heard quite a bit so far but been told not to say too much yet incase my sources get into trouble!
What I can say is that apparantly I know some of the new pros just couldnt get anyone to actually spill the beans as to names!! Although one I do know for sure.

If there are a lot of new Pros's and they aren't increasing the number of contestants taking part, then some of our much loved Pro's must be being sidelined!

There will be some sad departures from the show!
On another note apparantly none of the pros from our show are taking part in the USA version so they havent stolen any of them from us!

If it hadn't have been for Haley and Danielle, I probably wouldn't have carried on watching the whole series last year, the choice of contestants plus Jason Gardiner's comments made it very uncomfortable viewing. If I don't like the look of this years contestants and my favourite Pro's aren't in it, I probably won't bother watching it.....which is a shame as I love ice-skating and we don't get to see it on TV very often!

Can't understand them getting rid of some of the most popular pros. Unless of course it's the pro's choice.

Last years celebs weren't great. The show is looking very tired. i know I only watched for the pro's, Will be gutted if some of them don't return. Especially Fred and Mel.

I'll still watch. Some of the new Pros could be really good, and I love this show!

I read an article in one of the cheepie gossipy mags in the hospital waiting room this aftenoon.....Craig Revell Horwood was asked about the Pro dancers on SCD being sidelined and he said that the show is about the Celebs and not the Pro Dancers, I watch SCD because I Iike the Pro's in the same way that I like the Pro's on DOI, and if the Producers don't like it then they should line up a better selection of Celebs......or I won't watch it!

Looks like theres gonna be a LOT of tears when we find out the pros for the new series!!!

Can you say who's not coming back !!!

I'd be surprised if Fred and Mel came back this year. Mel seemed noticeably fed up this year and I suspect it takes a large chunk out of their lives having to be in the UK, away from their families for several months of the year. And I wouldn't be surprised if Fred is tired of being lumped with the less able females of the celeb lineup. I wouldn't blame them if they hung up their DOI skates, although I would certainly miss Fred.

I got shot down in flames for saying the same about Maria being away from her little boy for months on end!

Maria's coming back I thought.

I already knew about Stuart, but tbh it didn't surprise me one bit.

At least Mel always gets to bring her little boy with her! I just got the feeling this year that Mel's had enough. I doubt they'll be back.

Well Stuarts saying on twitter what a few of us have know for a while now, its looking like its Susie,Andrei,Fred,Mel,Molly and Matty G that are not coming back along with Stuart himself.

Theres possibly at least 5 new pros that I already know of (maybe more) and they are all lovely.

Just looked on Fred and Mel's website and under 'News' and Upcoming Events, it says

"Melanie has been named as the Assistant Choreographer for Holiday on Ice's new production "Festival". Rehearsals are currently underway in The Netherlands. The World Premier of "Festival" will take place on 11 NOV in Hamburg, Germany." Does this confirm they won't be available for DOI or is it just a one-off event?
