I mean are any of these stories relevant?

http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/music/ne...op-10-hit.html

http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/showbiz/...ut-clancy.html

why don't people stop blaming their management cos they've had ALOT of coverage albeit a little bit pointless, but coverage nonetheless.

just accept that people are just not really that interested in their music

It's weeks like this that make me lose all faith with the charts these days.

It's absolutely crazy the sheer desperation from some people for them to get to no.1 with what is a dull, middle-of-the-road song, from an ultra-commercial group. The fact that they are struggling to get over the finish line after this ridiculous amount of coverage they've had proves how dull the song is.

If the song was any good it would of soared to #1 without any competition considering the promo and coverage they've had this week. But they wouldn't dare let the song stand up on it's own, would they? If they do reach #1 it'll be a complete farce and totally unmerited.

I used to like The Saturdays - and I know every song in the charts gets promotion - but after the blatant desperation shown by them to sponge every last sale from whoever they can in whatever way possible, I'm finding it hard to respect them.

Their management have nothing to do with their press. Press and PR are almost always handled by separate companies. In The Saturdays' case, their press is handled by Supersonic PR and Chuff Media. Their management handle the girls themselves i.e. their day to day affairs, getting them from A to B, making sure they're happy and have access to the resources they need so that they are ready for work. It's a group effort so it's impossible to criticise one person or organisation.

So whos the one who chooses what single they should release.

I think when people say "management" they mean the direct manager(s) and the label jointly.
