I don't honestly know whether I can imagine Russell in this role?
The little comedy bits, maybe, but the part where the barowner and his wife dance was such a bittersweet moment in the show.

Same. If he goes over the top with attempts at humour or flamboyance where the show doesn't call for it it just won't work.

I would be interested to see him in the role but I'm not sure if I can get to any of the Westend dates. |

Yes - Carlos is a role that calls for "Comedic Restraint". Teddy was very good at it. "Less is More" in the role - although MrsJJ and I are sure he will put his own take on it!! JJ Last edited by jjackson42 : 07-11-2012 at 16:59. Reason: Cant bloody splee!! |

You can vote for Midnight Tango in the Whats On Stage awards if you like ....
![]() I have nominated them in the 'Best Regional Production' 'Best West End Show' and 'Best Choreographer' categories. I'm not sure what other ones they would be eligible for(?) http://awards.whatsonstage.com/awards/nominations |

Time Out have a special offer on tickets at the Phoenix Theatre on selected dates until Tuesday 19 February: Upper Circle tickets for just Ł20 or Top-price seats for Ł35 instead of Ł55.
I'm dragging my husband along on 19th February.

I was just about to say I may go to the Manchester venue on my birthday when I saw your post. It'll be easier and nearer to go to Leeds just after my birthday - what date's yours? Mine's the 25th

(Since the show first began in April 2011, it has sold nearly 500,000 tickets throughout the UK and Ireland, meaning almost half a million people to date have been seduced by Vincent and Flavia’s hot and sensual show) |

Looks like a few (or all) of the SCD tour people are going to see Midnight Tango on their night off on Monday. I've seen a few tweets about it and looks like James and Ola are going AGAIN

I know James mouths off and can be a right idiot at times but he's generally seems supportive of his fellow pros
