I am looking to find a way to get sky player on my main TV for the new football season. I know i have cut it fine but hoped to get sky installed but this is looking unlikely due to living in apartment.

I have looked at 3view and fetch tv both seam like good options to me but some of the comments i have seen scare the hell out of me with regards to awful customer service boxes breaking and the such.

I have also been looking at the xbox 360 option but this seams to be the most pricy since i don't already have an xbox.

I would be grateful for any help or advice you can give me as well as any solutions i may not have thought of.

Could you connect your computer to your TV?

I've got a Fetch TV box, mainly to watch Sky Player and BBC iPlayer. It is mostly OK, although Sky 1, Eurosport and ESPN are missing from the usual Sky Player channels. HD and some other programmes are not available from BBC iPlayer. Picture quality is normally slightly worse than regular standard definition digital TV.

The other services they offer like films etc is ok

So do you think it is worth the £200 for the box then? Can you record from Sky Player?

What about setting up reminders and timers?
