The MARCO MUST LEAVE thread
RPM
18-06-2004
After seeing the edited highlights last night, I blame Marco for a lot of what happened during the "riot".

Okay, he never threatened violence, but the annoying little weasel deliberately incited rage from Jason in particular. I actually don't know how J managed to restrain himself from punching the irritating little sh*t!

How pitiful that he then hid behind the girls when Jason erupted. Get him out!

If Victor or Jason are asked to leave then Marco should be going with them.

We'll have to put up with this knobber for quiite a while yet. It's obvious that him and his harem will all vote the same way so they will be the last 4...a nightmare scenerio i'm afraid

Totally agreed - I'm amazed at how no-ones spotted how much the snide little sh*t is to blame for much of the dischord in the house.

Don't believe he broke any rules though.

I blame Jason and Victor for being uncontrolled idiots.

They wound themselves up more than anyone else did. Then Jays petulant shouting at the housemates like they are 5 years old with their lego spread across the room. Who the f*ck did he think he was?!

Then he went and did it again after Vic/Jay came out the diary room.

Get Jay out!!

marco is confrontational?

it was vic and jason walking around for 2 and a half hours after e&m got back in, saying they were well up for a fight and looking for any excuse to snipe some mebers of the harem.

The lack of any (visible) action against Marco is probably the worst part of this. This legitimises the "get in someone's face until you really piss them off" tactic.

It's all very well saying "just walk away", but the house, especially this year's, is designed so that you can't just walk away.

I agree that he shouldn't have got in his face as it was pretty foolish making an already angry Scot even angrier, but Marco did what Marco does. His little dance was typical of him, and Jason overreacted cos he was trying to be the daddy. A violent controlling daddy.

i don't remember v & j explicitly stating they were 'up for a fight'... i've watched the build up a couple of times and don't remember that at all. can you be specific?

i'm not sure marco is confrontational - hypocritical, yes, in as far that he'll trash a communal area, and ruin food that was for everyone, not just his own pleasure. and then expect people not to be irritated by him.

he really is vile

I think he was blatantly provoking Jason too and his behaviour was intolerable. I wonder how acting like that on national television will affect his future prospects as a lawyer, lol.

BUT.. the real instigator of the 'dance of disrespect' was Emma. In her secret chat with Marco and Nadia she claimed Jason and Victor had a plan and part of this was to 'intimidate' people. This comment gave Marco and Nadia what they thought was ammunition to then go and intimidate Jason back, hence their provocations and sarcastic comments on fight night. They acted like complete ****s because the seed had been planted in their heads by Emma that Jason wanted to 'intimidate' them. Now at least Nadia is regretting her actions.

I'm now trying to remember who exactly Jason and Victor have, as Emma claimed, been 'intimidating'. Yes they have a gameplan, yes they are trying to work out the best stratgey, just like everyone else, but who have they actually 'intimidated'? No-one, as far as I can remember (this is prior to the bedsit girls' return btw)

v and j in the out house were clearly voicing their intentions to rev things up to a new level.

last night's edits showed it plainly.

I think it's a miracle that Marco wasn't skinned alive after a couple of hours.

Sure he showed restraint, if it was me I would have put him on the way to a sex-change.

He's well on the way already!

The homosexual community must be so pleased to have such a charicature representing them in BB5.

Marco needs to go.

I think he's a nice bloke, needs to do a little growing up, but at least he's keeping a grin on his face, he's been upset a couple of times, but he knows the score and ain't letting things get to him too much - if there was a bet on who would be the last to lose their marbles completely my money would be on him - all the rest seem to be having trouble keeping up their 'this is who I am in the real world' act.

I agree with what someone said yesterday - if the media are gonna be looking for new presenters or tv personalities they ain't gonna find them in this bunch.

Maybe i'm wrong - they could always star in a remake of 'one flew over the cuckoos nest'

Marco has been one of the most cunning gameplayers from the word go. I get the feeling that we are seeing a carefully constructed character who got to work to acquire his 'harem' within the first hour of BB5 and has cynically used them to futher his ends ever since. His squealing seal act is horrendous and would be shameful in a 6 year old - what I can't understand is why I still quite like him.....?!?

So you want those who add some spice and confrontation to BB5 to leave?????

Obviously you were either a fan of BB4 or this is your first BB?

Thanks Marco for being so annoying and causing the excitement of Wednesday/Thursday.

NO-ONE GOT HURT!!

But the usually short-changed viewers got some fascinating entertainment.

I might prefer Woodstock, yes, but others than me have a right[or need] to be entertained.

Cheers Marco

Marco behaves like a tosser, so what? Jason would have just walked away and ignored him if he had two brain cells to rub together.

To blame Marco for the debacle that was the other night is absolutely ridiculous. Jason and his mate Vic were doing a perfectly adequate job of winding each other up long before the 'fight' kicked off
