I have Set up Google Mail on my hero but when i delete them online(Laptop) its not updating on my E mail count on my phone but when i get e mails it adds them up on my hero.

Any advice please?

Regular Mail App that is all ready on the mobile.

Im having big problems with this hero because i dont think it has the right update and im getting a old version of market place.

Google Mail app is already on the mobile too, using that might solve your problem.

With regards the update, have you tried doing a manual check on the phone to see if there's updates available?

I cant find anywhere on the hero do to a manual check but on the desire ive got it gives you that to check but cant find it on the hero.

I can see the google App its Red and white but when a e mail comes it dont tell you how many e mails are waitting to be looked at!!!

Can you please check for me that my hero is up to date please

its showing as

Firmware 1.5

Software 1.0.0.A6288

When i click on Firmware download a box just comes up asking to download automatically or prompt before download or never and thats it.

No offer of checking at all.
