Problems viewing digital spy on an iPad, adverts in the posts and viewing spoilers,,,
On the iPad the first post where the advert goes it doesn't convert the template properly and the advert covers up half of the post. (I hope you understand what I mean)
also when someone uses spoiler tags. You can't view them. Just thought I would see if these were normal nags and bring them to ds' attention.. So please DS can you sort this? |

Works ok for me. Haven't tried spoiler tags though.

Ah yes I just found a topic where the first post has a quote. I see what you mean.

I noticed it too. But big sites like DS will make themselves iPad compatible in time.

I copy and paste spoiler text into some other app (Notes will do) to view it.

I find this problem but not all the time. Does anyone else have problems viewing Digital spy on there iPhone? I use to be able to get the whole site now it has changed to the mobile site with no forums! I had to keep googling to find them until I bookmarked them. If I then click on the digital spy logo it goes back to the mobile site!

Opera browser used to send many sites untowards.
So at the time I abandoned the browser for Firefox. |

If you press the quote button, you get to see the spoiler inside the message box where you type your reply.

I'm pretty sure it's a problem with WebKit (the underlying engine used by Safari - both the Mac/Windows version as well as the iPhone/iPad version and Google Chrome).
It was fixed in a newer release of WebKit, which Google rolled out quite quickly, but Apple didn't. I think it was corrected in Safari 5 for Mac/Windows, but they haven't fixed the mobile browser yet. |

There's a "Switch to Web version" option right at the bottom of the mobile page.
