Just saw this -

Producers plan to call Victor to the bedsit later for a private meeting with Emma away from the other housemates.

The pair will be urged to settle their differences following the furious row in which they threatened to kill each other and had to be pulled apart.

If they agree, Emma will be allowed back into the house.

She spent a second night locked away in the bedsit as producers ignored her pleas to be let out.

Well lets hope they show their true feelings rather than just hugging for the sake of the show. It is a bit tacky of Endemol if there are cameras at their 'private' meeting which is deciding this girls fate.

Well isn't that the whole point of the entire show?

Let's hope that the two of them can see sense.

The only thing I'm worrying about is Victor realising the situation, and deliberately provoking Emma to make sure that she's not allowed back in.

I think this meeting will determine both their fates. If they can`t get along I can see them both being evicted. They can`t just punish Emma.......she wasn`t the only one shouting and being violent.

chances are though if the situation is provoked then both face risk of expulsion

Unless it has been edited out, only one of them (Emma) has expressed the intention to urinate in people's food etc.

Victor has already said this afternoon that he doesn't want Emma back in and that "if Big Brother is simply giving them some time apart, then it will not work, because he feels that Emma will not change".

http://bigbrother.digitalspy.co.uk/article/ds6578.html

Emma has consistently said since she was forced to go into bedsit, that she has calmed down and wants to apologise to the HMs and to Victor.

How are they going to stretch this to an hour?

I hope they are going to have a mediator in there with them! I seriously doubt either of them have the capacity to have a calm discussion without some intervention from someone else. Maybe one of the psychologists should be with them.

In TV sometimes the show has to come second to the wellbeing of an individual person ... not often, i grant you.

That's true. On the other side of the coin though, only one of them (Victor) has expressed the intention of having someone else punch Emma once outside the house.

I think there will be a mediator there - hopefully a proper psychologist who will be able to tell if they're really going to be able to both go back in the house or if they're just going to slap a cracked veneer on for the purposes of going back. (If they do agree of course).

Oh god.

I'm starting to wish Victor would just sacrifice his place in the house and give a calm interview about why his principles are more important than appearing on a gameshow with Emma.

This is going to be awful. ...if only my principles were important enough to stop me watching it.

Think you'll find when it all kicked off Emma said her family would sort Victor out!

I fear Emma is going to come out of this worse - i.e. evicted. Shes is perceived as more of a danger than Victor because she is locked away and he is not So, if Victor simply refuses to be accept Emma then she'll be off - it may be that Victor has the upper hand here in any negotiations.

Edit : Just noticed the glaring sentence from the article :

"If they agree, Emma will be allowed back into the house"

If they can't agree, and Victor only needs to remain stubborn, Emma is out.

Stupid, Stupid, Stupid. What on earth difference would one chat make. Its like Hitler saying something nice to the Poles in 1939 when you know World war Two will break out next week. Criminally irresponsible.

They can`t evict one and leave the other in the show. It would lose any credibility it has left.

Besides which I don`t think Emma is viewed more of a "danger" than Victor. They are both as bad as each other.

They can do whatever they like, which they have done so far. Jason and Victor fans might well feel justified in thinking that Emma and Michelles free ride kills BB's credibility.

Emma is seperated from the whole house, Victor isn't and is free to roam, stir, grouch and mince around. Emma is dynamite, whereas Victor is just an irritatant.

Yep. It's stupid and pointless. Emma should really be kicked out, but it's actually Endemol's fault for putting her in the bedsit and winding her up so much. The housemates may have exploded, but it's the producers who lit the fuse.

more like they are worried about how much money they lose if emma sues them

its in their contract and rules ....if they decide to kick emma they have to kick the lot out and if they dont and leave others there she may have a case

think thats why they are trying to bring them together now

Except for the plain fact that Victor has the muscles & the personality traits that would lead to Emma getting a pasting from him for "Dissing" his "Gangsta" persona.
Just because she feels so obviously that she can`t back down from a fight, his avowed intent of "getting rid of" everyone he dislikes on the show can only lead to more friction between them. No amount of supervised councilling or "Clear the air" talks can heal the rift between them now.
The only way to calm things down is to "E-Victor" & bring back the person who originally wanted to just "enjoy" the whole BB experience.
