Man with the Golden Gun - HD Sound Quality?
Did anyone watch/record the Man with the Golden Gun on ITV1 HD?
I recorded and watch it on Sunday, but the sound quality was terrible. Was it just my box or did any one else have the same problem?? ![]() bodatron

It depends how the source material is "processed", before being broadcast!
It's common practise to put noise gates in the stereo sound channels. This is often done badly, and can clip speech, making it unintelligable. Another fault is unganged noise gates, which wrecks the stereo ....... Not to mention using the wrong Dolby decoding on analogue soundtracks, etc etc...... All depends on how good the technician on duty is. Especially if it's Sunday afternoon. That's assuming there is one, in these credit crunch times ......... |
