Am I the only one . . . ?

Am I the only one who thinks the decision to postpone this week's evictions is cynical, manipulative and unjustified?

The reason BB gave to the housemates is that the group needs to come together after this week's difficulties sounds plausible on the surface, but I really don't think an eviction they all expected was going to happen would make that much difference.

Unless Dan is the one to go. He has been the main conciliator since Wednesday and to some extent the group needs him to stay to avoid descending into chaos.

What are the odds Dan is currently leading the vote and C4/Endemol know they can't afford to lose him?

BB5 is descending into farce as the producers tear up the rule book, week after week, to cover for the fact they have over-done it on the 'evil' and over-compensated for last year in the casting.

There was no real need to postpone the eviction, unless of course they are planning to use tonight's show to evict someone else, which is what many people are beginning to suspect including myself.

Rumour has it that tonight there will be a mass eviction with the harem being the main victims...

More like Vanessa is leading and they don't want the blatant eye candy character to get booted, especially since she might get it on with someone.

plausible.
that would explain why they are bigging Dan up all of a sudden.
i see Dan for what he is though ...a creep
looks like bb have made him one of their chosen ones along with Stuart and possibly Michelle

Well why not. Those 3 are going to cause the least problems for them. So long as they can keep people watching, they'll be satisfied. nd

What!! You're seriously suggesting it is feared Dan might lose to Vanessa ?

He has been the main conciliator since Wednesday and to some extent the group needs him to stay to avoid descending into chaos.

Ah yes the return to cosy BB4. If this is chaos then we'd better have some more..given no blood is spilled.Dan does the viewing public a dis-service then.

A better reason to cancel eviction is to be SEEN to be acting on what happened.Endemol are as scared of regulators as they are of lawyers.
Or,knowing vanessa is doomed yet has still something to give to the "chaos" give HER another week.

Anyway let's hope good old, undeceitful Dan can put matters right.

Come back Gos,Scott,Cammie,Nush, the laugh-a-minuteBrummie lass[cant remember her name]
all is forgiven.

sorry my idea of entertainment isn't harmony (not in the context of bb)
i don't want a happy ending, i want to see even more conflict.

Well, I assume the producers know how the voting is going, so whether they want to keep Dan or keep Vanessa (insert your own pro-Vanessa conspiracy theory here) they have given themselves the breathing space of another week to either get what they want or massage the vote.

My argument is simply that there is no valid reason to postpone the eviction and not have nominations this week.
