Jon Snow said they have an interview coming up with a BB psychologist who has resigned because his warnings that a fight would break out were ignored. Should be interesting.

I thought he said criminologist too but then I thought "what is a criminolgist doing on BB?" so thought I must have misheard.

Well he was a criminologist - they asked him how to restore calm after a prison riot!

David Wilson was the advisor who resigned.
He said he was opposed to the bedsit idea as it gave the bedsit two too much of an advantage making it dangerous to put them back in the house.
He advised to drop tonights eviction after the fight and to have group bonding for a week.
He advised that the HM who faces criminal investigation should no longer take part in the program.

His last dicussion with BB was "How would you regain control of a prison after a riot?" Oh Dear.

Earlier he said the putting the bedsit two back would lead to conflict, because of the huge advantage they had gained - in a prison situation he would be looking to segregate similar people.

I think Endemol may be in deep water over this - there is a good argument to be made that they have failed in their duty of care.

Maybe Emma will sue.

I expect that the lawyers are already circling her family. Endemol will settle if the lawyers can put together something half-convincing - they cannot risk a court case.

Could be everyone except Kitten could be a winner this year, I smell legal action. Although anyone of the housemates could have walked at any time and that may save Endemols bacon.

I always thought the bedsit was a bad idea,a bit like Cam to Africa last year, exemptions from nominations do give an unfair advantage, but it has certainly made for good telly viewing.

With a slick lawyer, they could certainly make it very hard for €ndemol and C4 to keep any credability in the BB format. She does have some sort of case, locked up for 3 days with no natural light etc etc. If she were a cat the RSPCA would have had a very merry dance.

Emma is free to leave at any time. She's not a prisoner. It is up to BB if she's allowed back in the house. No case to answer to.

That would be an argument, but not a very good one in my humble (but distinctly non-lawyerly) opinion: You cannot get out of punching someone just because they could have ducked.

He advised Emma be separated until the legal enquiry was over - he said it was for assault. She got some message from Bb last night which made her happier and talk about returning so that might be it.

Agreed, but you'd be on shaky ground if you proceeded with a legal action based on your own actions when you could have avoided a situation, as they say it takes two to tango. With all the publicity Endemol might be happy to fight any action afterall bad publicity is better than no publicity.

I just luv this idea of things being "fair"© ... I mean, c'mon ... this is BIG BROTHER ... REALITY TV ... a microcosm of life ... since when has life been "fair"? ...

Is that why FMs are getting so upset ... because, in these *controlled* conditions, they want life to be less messy, less inconclusive, 'fairer'? ... BB as a consoling myth ...

I like it this way ... dirty-ass fighting and half-cocked assassinations ... lord, what fools these mortals be [Shagspere c. 1600] ...

He never mentioned Emma by name. He just said the HM facing a criminal investigation should be removed. Speculation abounds.

The matter of the huge advantage hasn't been resolved...so will conflict break out again....It was a terrible idea....

Yeah, but you're not as confused as she is.

I sure hope not.

I get your point though. How aware is Emma that she can leave? I suspect she is aware but just wants to get back in the house.

He said he advised the person being looked at by police be separated - why the police didn't is a mystery. It has the same effect of keeping them apart.
