Resigned Psychologist on C4 news.

OUCH

Many points discussed. Resigned because of conflict of interest. Carefully phrased but he put over some ideas and information.

He pointed out he was an expert on prisoners not people there by choice. Raises a few issues in itself.

He had advised about the dangers of returning the two HM and suggested that it had to be more controlled. He made the point this did not seem to have been acted on.

Asked about the dangers to the HM he said his resignation was an ethical issue.

He was asked what to do after the fight and what a prison would do. (Raises a few more questions about Endemol priorities) He recommended no eviction this week.

There is a legal issue and he recommended segregating the person who might be the subject of assault proceedings.

Jon snow said 5there would be NO eviction tonight at all. - Reconciliation was the order of the day. Do you believe the C4 news.

C4 had issued a statement saying everything was under control and safe but no one appeared to be questioned.

Bricks, ton. of.

He wasn't a psychologist at all, his profession was criminologist.
There's a difference!!!
Also check the other threads already started on the subject!

What the heck are they doing getting a criminologist in there? Maybe few real psychs will take on this job. I thought the person more in danger of charges was Vanessa seeing as though Emma's fight has already been screened.

Ok but its all behavioural science - until Emma has a breakdown or there are no warders to restrain Jason..........

Interestingly they didn't follow his advice on how to return a prisoner to the main gaol (which is his expertise) but they did seek his advice on how to recover from a prison riot when they had the most traumatised group of HM in BB history and should have put the programme lower in their priorities. The lawyers are going to have great fun with their definition of the HM being under appropriate psychological oversight.

I wouldn't be surprised if the 9.00 show is just highlights of everyone becoming friends again (honest!) to give Endemol another hour to decide what to do.
