DMR-EX780EB home movie blu ray problems
Sexbomb

I don't know what the problem is here but i have a panasoninc camcorder thats high def, the images on it are perfect and no issues
after using software to create the movie and finish it to a bluray disc with titles, transitions on, it creates and burns fine.

If i play it back on the same blu ray disc player on the pc i have no problems with image freeze ups or audio issues but the problem i have is playing the same disc in my panny freeview hd dvd bluy ray recorder. it has no problem reading or playing the disc but the only issue is with the split second freezing of an image after a title or transition has just passed. the audio is 100% fine and that doesn't freeze but it does on the image for about 0.3 of a sec and jumps to carry on.

it doesn't do it on my pc blu ray player, ive tried the disc in someone else's blu ray player and has no issues but why am i getting issues in this model?

the current software version is 1.10, i've rung up panasonic about this issue and they said send us the disc for us to try in the same model in the post and we'll send it back to you. I have only had this 2 months and i know it isn't the software used on the pc to create the movie the issue because it works fine from the burned blu ray disc on other players

any ideas or is it the processing image in the drive?

I have exerienced the same problem when loading an HD movie created from Sony camcorder footage edited using Nero Vision 10 and uploaded to my Panasonic DMR-BW780 via SD card or USB stick using multiAVCHD. When I play the movie via the HDMI connection, the image freezes for a split second a moment after every transition but the sound continues and remains in sync after the freeze, i.e. the picture catches up. However, when I play the same movie on the (same Sony model) TV in another room via my ethernet LAN, using the Panasonic's built-in DLNA feature, it does not exhibit this behaviour. If you get to the bottom of this, please post the solution here.
