For a group who've just had a No.1 i would expect for hype and popularity.......but i've just completely forgotten about them.

Girls Can't Catch had more impact when there single went to No.33 i think they might be one hit wonders.

After hearing about their manager and their chart ''fixing'', I'm a little more wary about them -.-

To me, they seem to be a complete fluke.. I'd heard nothing of them or their song until it was already Number 1, and nothing of them or their song since then.

Maybe im not looking in the right places, but they just dont seem to be anything

I always get their song "All Time Low" mixed up with the band "All Time Low", despite the fact that they are very different things.

They're just a product of teenage girls overactive hormones and they will fade away soon.

Which one are The Wanted again? All these boybands just seem to merge into one.

Care to elaborate?

... not that I'm in a rush to stick up for them, I'm just curious and haven't heard about this.

For what it's worth, I do still quite enjoy All Time Low (which was still in the Top 10 last time I checked? )

Basically they are owned and managed by the guy who practically owns commercial radio in the UK.

Its alleged other songs were bumped down the playlists to give "All time low" exposure.

Maybe. It's a very radio-friendly song though. I can't say I heard it any more than other songs that have been Number 1 recently. People are so quick to shout "FIX!", but I try and stay less cynical. (I can be a right cynical bastard when I get going. I love a good conspiracy. )

Ahh, but the question is, was it played a lot on the radio because it was number 1, or was it number 1 because it was played a lot on the radio?

They were hyped to hell before the single was out. As anyone who is on Orange Monkey will know, each member had their own individual playlist for a fortnight.
