Don't worry I've been there with Charice as well since I discovered her quite a long time ago and I'm pleased she's having the success her talent greatly deserves

I just hope Pyramid is more of a hit here than it was in the US.

Several threads popped up here about Charice in last 2 years. You may have seen one of those, otherwise some related clips whilst watching some Celine Dion videos over youtube.

David foster supported her a lot to become what she is now.

She is so amazing, I love Pyramid and Note To God, that note at the end of Note To God is pure talent - she is the best vocalist in the world right now imo

Ah proper youtube talent. Unlike the kid that got famous cause girls get wet for him Justin Beiber.

I think she’s a very talented vocalist, although not too keen on the sinlge personally (or the video), but I will be keeping my eye on her in future.


Hmmm… she reminds me of many people.

On the big notes, it could be Whitney Houston singing it, or maybe Christina Aguilera.

On the quieter notes I think she sounds a lot more distinctive and pleasing, with a very crisp, clear sound with a strong lower range.

On Pyramid she has that distinctive vibrato sound going on, a bit like Beyonce, Rihanna, Nelly Furtado, Pixie Lott etc. Although she doesn’t quite sound like any of them.

Overall, I guess she reminds me most of:

• Ashanti
• Alesha Dixon
• All Saints

She's absolutely fantastic. Her cover of Run to You is quite possibly the best version I've heard of the song (besides Whitney herself, of course).
