Is this the dumbest house ever?
I have just finished watching about two and a half weeks worth of BB:US, and I am shocked at how dumb these HMs are when it comes to gameplaying.
With the exception of Matt, not one of them seems to be able to think beyond the next minute or past what the last person said to them. And what makes it worse is they think they are making moves that will go down in BB history! Honestly, has there ever been a dumber house than this? |

Hayden is almost always making plans for the coming weeks.

Hayden is actually very smart too. He has no enemies, would win against most people in the final, but still has managed to avoid anyone targetting him.
Britney was playing well early on too, but in the last few weeks has really let it all slip away, and to be honest, her position gets worse by the week. |

Britney's position in the house has actually improved recently imo. A few weeks ago it looked like she was heading for 8th, this is mainly down to a combination of luck and winning HoH rather than good game play but still

Hayden is the best player by far this Season. He is playing everyone, on every level. If he makes it to F2, he is a certainty to win and still no one in there appears to see it. Indeed, if he became more competitive in HoH and PoV comps, he'd be right up there with Dan, in my estimations.

.Winning the veto on Rachel's eviction week was dangerous, and pointless considering B&R were both already out of the competition. And now, if she nominates Brendon after their deal last week, she'll totally blow ANY chance of a juror vote from Brachel. There's still a chance, albeit a slim one, that Britney could make it to the final two. She has virtually no chance of winning now though, because unless she and Ragan go through a fluke run of HoH's, she'd face a Brigade member, meaning she'd need all four votes that arent from the Brigade jurors. |

But the guy hasn't exactly shown much prowess in the competitions. He won the first HoH, but only through default, due to being the biggest/strongest person on his team, and therefor the person with the task of lifting everyone else on the sausge. Since then though, he hasn't won a thing, despite needing to and saying he was going to.

I think the house is fairly smart this year. Compared to last year at least. That's why its been a little dull overall though I'm still enjoying it, because the HG's know its smart to avoid drama and throw competitions...

He's playing everyone so well, he doesn't need to win yet. Unless someone cottons-on soon, the only way he will get booted is if he loses F3 HoH and the winner doesn't take him to F2.
Given that everyone this season seems to be behind this idea that only a 'true competitor' deserves to win, I would imagine he would have a hard time convincing the jury if he makes it to the final and has no proper wins under his belt. |

Her gameplay has declined rapidly since then. I genuinely thought she was playing a blinder by being the only player to see the benefits of buddying up to Rachel, but she pretty much undid all of that good work since.

How is it smart to keep the strongest competitors to the end? How is it smart to get rid of people with such huge targets on their back, they will be going soon anyway, when you have the oppertunity to get rid of those other competitors who aren't so obvious in their actions?
![]() It's been the only year in a long time where there's not been two camps but pretty much every decision was voted on by the whole house. Except if you included Rachel & Brendan as a 'side', but they were never part of any other alliances and were always completely isolated. I guess nobody really wants to target people like Enzo or Hayden since they are popular in the house, and nobody has a solid alliance to fall back and shield them. The whole house is mostly just floaters really. |

Hayden's playing a blinder right now. Only Ragan is questioning him.

Maybe, but he doesn't appear to be throwing the comps, so there is no real indication that he can actually win anything.

All this talk about "competitors" deserving to win is nonsense. Otherwise, those who talk like that would have evicted Kathy long ago. |

Hayden is guaranteed 2 votes from Brenchel and a third from Kathy. He only needs one Brigade vote and it's game over.

Will he still have thier votes if they find out about the Brigade? (Gawd, why did they pick such a stupid name!
![]() The only possible fly in the voting ointment for Hayden is Matt, who has played an openly competitive game, which might just sway Rachel. But that's all. |

I agree. Matt is the only person who should even bother turning up if they made it into the final with Hayden, the rest have no chance. That F2 should neven happen of course.

I could see Matt receiving "respect" votes from the jury ala Dan if he makes the final, but a lot depends on who is responsible for evicting who from now on.
Im expecting a Hayden and Lane final two at the moment though - I've been calling Lane as the runner-up from the very start, and I still think that'll be the case. |

Yep. Rachel, Brendon and Kathy like Hayden far better than any of the other Brigade members and they, all 3 of them, loathe Ragan and Britney.
The only possible fly in the voting ointment for Hayden is Matt, who has played an openly competitive game, which might just sway Rachel. But that's all. I guess we'll see how it pans out, but I'm surprised that Hayden hasn't been targeted yet, simply because he appears to have some brains and brawn, where as Lane is just brawn and Enzo is brain (at a push ).

With a professor, a doctor, and a stripper-scientist, you'd think not, but their education doesn't seem to translate to competent gameplay.

Creating the Brigade in the first week seems to have been quite a smart move, seeing as all four members are still loyal and in the house and none of them have been as high on non-brigade members' radar as other non-brigade members!
But I think that some of the brainiest HMs i.e. Brenchel and Ragan have made some very dumb decisions, yeah. I think Kathy played a blinder given that she's pretty useless at everything. |
