Rachel: The best HG of BB12
Hoping others agree with this. She might have had her annoying sides, but ultimately she completely made this season.
Think she'd have been much better HG if Brendan hadn't have been around. Nothing against him, I don't dislike him, but she'd have been much better on her own. Looking forward to Allstars when she'll certainly be back.

She was a dreadful gameplayer in pretty much everyway. She was great entertainment though and gave Britney plenty of material to show her catty side
![]() No doubt she will be asked back. |

I sort of agree. I think shes by far the most memorable housemate, and gave more to the show than any of the other evicted housemates combined, but I guess at the end of the day, Big Brother is a game, and her gameplay wasnt great, so she cant really be labelled the best.
![]() She should be an absolute banker for an Allstar season though. I cant think of many housemates in the second era of BB that deserve another go for the sheer entertainment value. |

She was a good gameplayer, well in the same way as Janelle. Very good at comps but not a very good social player.

She may well get an invitation to All Stars, but only for the Drama she creates. |

I actually expect Rachel to be the first out of Allstars. Of the potential returners, Dick, Jen, Keesha, Jeff, Britney and Jordan will all detest her based on their past form, and she will go in with a massive target on her back because of her challenge prowess.
How sad am I already thinking about the ins and outs of a season that hasnt even been confirmed, let alone cast?

Glad you started this thread, she was without doubt the best houseguest this season, sad to see her go.

Janelle didn't isolate herself in week 1 when the HoH is just looking for an excuse to nominate 2 people if I'm not mistaken

She was definitely the most memorable and good at some of the competitions, however she wasn't a good gameplayer.
It's a pity because if she had kept her emotions in check, and actually thought before acting, she *could* have been a good gameplayer too. |

I miss her already. :[
'IM BACK BTCHES!' She made great entertainment, a must for all stars! I am gutted Annie went so early on aswell, she seemed well into the game, but she was a bad gameplayer, I could handle a losers season with her and Brian now! |

She made the season. Without her there is no entertainment and although I like Britney, she would be nothing without Rachel, all her comedy was based on her

She was a terrible gameplayer. I wouldn't compare her to Janelle. She won 2 HOHs, but they were quizzes, and a lot of people tend to throw the earlier HOHs. She used her HOH weeks to go after weak floaters. She got taken out by Kathy of all people in a competition that actually involved skill, and Rachel was the one who practiced all night. Strategically she was awful, and competition-wise she was nothing special.
She was only good for the drama, and some of her lines were great: "Ain't nobody gonna come between me and MY man!", "Floaters grab a life vest!" ![]() I found it hard to like her though. In some ways she was an under-dog, and I love rooting for the under-dog but Rachel was an exception. |

She was my favourite but I wanted to slap her when she was so easily taken in by what others told her. And when she laughed her awful false laugh. And whenever she shouted "You're good - Brendon!" in HoH comps. And when she accused people of coming between her and her man. And...**** me, why did I ever like her?
I think it's cos she was a chemistry grad who looked like a bimbo and she could win competitions over all the big and the other brainy houseguests. I really hope she gets into BB allstars if it happens. |

She was entertaining, but I hated her laugh, so I wouldn't like her to be in All Stars.
Plus I like Ragan more. |

I find myself torn over Rachel.
I thought she was brilliant at first, but as time went on she just became ridiculously irritating. All that "Brendaaaahn!!!" and "No-one comes between me and MY man!" rubbish really put me off her. Game-wise, she was appalling. The next Janelle? I think not. Janelle, like Rachel, was rubbish at the strategic part of the game but she was a survivor. Compare Rachel's performance in veto competitions to Janelle's. Rachel didn't get that far in the game really, and in many ways she was lucky she didn't go in week one. In addition, she really wasted her HoH weeks by getting people's backs up and ending up getting rid of people who probably were lesser threats to her than other HGs. (I know Monet didn't like her, but there was no indication that Monet was going to be a big power broker in the house, and the eviction of Kristen was driven purely by personal dislike rather than strategic considerations). It's weird though. I found Janelle's wacko pronouncements and 'Bye bye, bitches' to be endearing, whereas the more Rachel tried to emulate them, the more it put me off her. Plus, I hated the fact she always looked so confused and constantly was asking 'why, why, why?' when she's supposed to be an intelligent woman. I think Ragan has a bitch complex the size of Texas, but a lot of what he said to her in that argument rang quite true. And she was spoiling for a fight when she came back to the house. The showmance made me want to vomit as well, though 'Brendaaaaahn' is worse with his whole 'the woman I love, the woman I'm going to marry and have kids with' bilge. .. Sorry, that turned into a bit of a rant . In conclusion - Rachel, big character? Yes. Good player? No. Do I like her? Used to. Gone off her in a big way. But then I don't tend to *like* many BBUSA housemates - if you go into BBUS trying to find someone you like you're going to generally have a hard time of it.
