32" LCD TV Suggestions Please
Does anyone have any suggestions for a decent 32” LCD TV please?
I was considering the Sony Bravia KDL 32EX403 at just over £400 but having done some research there are mixed reviews, some saying it’s a great TV others having issues with the picture, so now i'm not too sure. http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B003BVI49E Any suggestions/recommendations for alternatives with a similar spec up to around £400 would be greatly appreciated. |

A similar model Sony but 37" is available from Amazon for the same price:

If you want a freeview HD set, read the following: http://whathifi.com/News/Problems-wi...-HD-the-facts/
as it appears that some sets don't convert the 5.1 audio to dolby digital 5.1 that your amp will understand. If you are connecting your tv to an amp your amp will have to understand aac format (not all do). This may be an issue or not for you! |

Thanks for the replies, can't make up my mind what to do really. It's been thrust on me having to consider which TV to go for as my 20+ year old Panasonic appears to have finally given up so now i'm having to watch tv on my pc which is a complete pain.
I think a 37" TV would be too big, i'm pretty sure 32" would be fine for me. I suppose I was tempted by the Sony Bravia KDL 32EX403 due to it having Freeview HD (although i'm not sure if my aerial will be up to it) and the wi-fi option although paying out an extra £60ish for the adaptor is not good but it's nice to have the option. Arrgghhh this is a nightmare as I really can't afford to make the wrong decision. Will have a ponder on your suggestions and check out the info from the whathifi link. Decisions decisions!! |

You may find that if you do get the 37" that you quickly get used to it, especially if you are moving up from CRT tv.
