Blackberry Curve - cannot use any other browser but Hotspot
I'm losing the will to live - and am realising I've made a huge mistake getting a blackberry.
![]() Anyway, can anyone tell me how to get out of fu**ing 'Hotspot Browser' on the Curve 8520. It's the only choice I have when I try to change it in 'Browser Configuration', won't change to anything else. I've set up BIS with Orange, done loads of battery pulls, a full wipe, requested 'service books' about 300 times. I'm getting totally sick of it. It's on PAYG btw. I'm taking it to the Orange shop where I bought it today if I can't sort it out myself. If they can't sort it does anyone know where I stand for a refund? I got it on the 'Ready Deal' thing which meant the phone was £109 and paid another £60 for a £10 top up to go on for 6 months. Would I be entitled to the £60 (well probably £50 cos I've used some of the credit from the first £10 credited) back as well as the £109 for the phone? Thanks for any help.

did you get this sorted out?
I have the 8520 on payg t-mobile and I have two browsers, the generic one that comes with my bb and I also use Opera mini. I downlaoded the opera browser and just select it when I want to go online, I haven't changed anything else and it just whizzes by. |
