Katie was great tonight. Loved her!

That was a very interesting performance from Katie tonight - when I heard what she was performing, I was wondering what the blinking nora they were going to do with it...I thought perhaps Cheryl had finally lost the plot completely and was awaiting the men in white coats to take her away!

However, it worked in some kind of strange netherworld way - I smiled all the way through it which is good, and her vocal was pretty good - I still say that she is not the best vocalist in this year's lot, but lets face it some of the greatest artists don't have the best vocals!

Look, I'm never going to be fond of Katie really - she comes across to me (its a personal opinion, obviously having never met the girl its an impression only!) as a bit full of herself, but that doesnt matter. She's proved that she deserved a place in the finals despite the problems during auditions so good luck to her. I don't see her winning it, but based on tonight I don't think she'll be going home anytime soon either.

wow anyone who can do something with a song like that deserves to win the whole blinking show! (btw i do love the song loads, im a disney fanatic, but its hard to sing!) I really enjoyed it, sang along and smiled the whole way through. I shall be voting for sure

I'm sick of people judging her really, unless they have met her then they shouldn't. The people i know who have met her say she is really lovely. Anyway, this is primarily a singing competition so if people want to judge purely based on personality they can go and watch paris hiltons bff or whatever its called. Its people who go 'oh she sang really well, but i wont be voting for her because i just don't like her' that really get to me.

And there is another article bashing katie in the DM today...poor thing!

No you are of course, but both are not exactly liked on this forum and you get stick for liking one, so liking both is even 'worse' in some peoples eyes.

Ah I see. Well, I'm more one for judging on performance at this stage - ok the personality stuff may give you a biased view at the beginning but now its live shows I just like what I like. Its not the same people every week, although I do love Rebecca every week so far!

Katie I've liked her second week and last night, but hated the first week, thought it was awful. Hopefully she should be safe tonight and we can get rid of more deadwood.

If she keeps on this way, I'll probably like her more as time goes on.

Katie is growing on me... it may be the fgirst time in x factor I have changed my opinion of someone.

Kate was amazing as usual last night. So want her to win! She just keeps getting better. I'm glad people have changed their opinions of her, she deserves a place in the final. While she isn't necessarily the best singer in the competition (I'd say the best singer is Matt or Mary) she certainly has a lot of talent, and last week she proved what a voice she has.
