Katie is coming across so well in her exit interviews today

As she was out first yesterday, does anyone know if she will still get to do all the gigs, or does Wagner do them?

Katie is lovely I wish her best of luck for her future in music.I love her voice and will happily buy her album.I don't belive this is end of Katie Waissel at all in fact it is barely the begging

it looks like her and wagner are going to do a lot of the gigs together whichis a reief as i thought she would miss out.

Genuinely gutted Katie is out! I'm sure she'll still get a record deal and I will definitely buy her album!

Hey everyone, this isn't really Katie-related, but I just wanted to mention the threads I've posted recently. Yesterday a girl in the office whose hair colour is similar to Katie's new hair colour wore a headband. Seeing her like that for the first time, she reminded me so much of Katie my heart almost missed a beat as I felt that I must have seen her somewhere before! I commented on a Pixie lookalike on her Appreciation Thread a couple of months ago but there is a difference here: I work on different projects from Pixielike but on the same project as Katielike!

Thought I'd bump this up. First post of 2011 .

Any fans around? She was on 'This Morning' today. Came across well imo, she seems really happy and stuff.

She says she hasn't signed to a record deal yet, but has been writing and recording music.

I guess we'll see what happens after she's done with the tour, if someone will pick her up ? If not, maybe release some stuff independantly?

I wasn't always her biggest fan, but she does have an amazing recording voice. And with certain songs her really cool and smokey voice was great, I'd definately buy her stuff if she released it.

Yes, I found her cool at audition and came to find her voice quite distinctive. I must watch her interview on This Morning via the ITV website or Youtube. I still work with the Katie lookalike sometimes but have still not told her!

The problem is when there is anything positive to talk about Katie, there are also many haters and it's beginning quite annoying.
She has a fan base, more than 100 000 on twitter. But how she can be taken seriously when there is crap like this one :

The haters are annoying, although thankfully it's dying down now.

The thing is, as you said, she does have a HUGE fanbase. At a lot of gigs she has been recieved well. And on Twitter, a lot of followers.

I really think she could potentially shock everyone and do something big.

I mean even if she's not signed. If she did something independantly or on an indie label and released it before it's too late she could still get some attention imo.

I'm looking forward to seeing what she does after the tour. I know she has lots of good contacts from her days in America, with Red One etc.

Also, the tour should be good too. I wonder what she'll sing?

I agree, she has some great contacts so we'll see what happens.

They showed the first part on Xfactor and the second one is from X tra factor – as u can notice the comments after are different.
What if they had shown Katie's second song at the judges house ....it was Save me from myself - the one she ended up singing it as a save me song

Maybe things would have been different for her in x factor

In X-Factor the biggest problem of Katie was ... Cheryl Cole.
She never understood Katie. They nearly never talk together. Katie doesn't got the phone number of Cheryl but got the one of Louis.

Cheryl has the job of defending Katie. But Katie find more support with Simon or Louis.

Cheryl is a very poor mentor.

Katie said (X-Tra) she wants to be taken as a serious artist. With Cheryl this was impossible.

It is good that they were quite friendly about Katie. Even if she lasted longer than the public votes warranted, she sang well, and it was never her fault the way the judges' votes panned out. As Katie never prevented anyone from voting for any other contestant, there was never any good reason for the media to turn against Katie in the first place.
